Reki's Route

"If you're okay with Langa now? Does it mean we're good too? Like are you sure seeing me right now is good for us? Normally when people ask for space it's more than a day-"

"Y/n, obviously I wouldn't be here if I wanted more space. Today I've realized a lot of things, one of them is that I'm never alone, because of my selfishness and self doubting it blinded and made me push away Langa and even envy him. I even pushed you away too because I felt like I was bringing you down from my issues. I-I don't want to loose any of you, and I want to forever skate with you guys" Reki tells me with a soft smile which made me beam with joy inside.

"Well I'm glad things are okay for all of us...so much has happened today. I'm glad Kaoru is doing a lot better and hope Hiromi recovers well soon...by the way what happened to your face?" I asked him, looking up into his amber eyes and scanned his face.

"Oh it's nothing you should worry about, just something that also made me think more about my feelings" He said letting out a small bitter laugh which made me look a him in confusion.

"If you say so...even your bottom lip is a bit scratched" I whisper as I leaned in and raised my hand up, lightly touching his lip as I let out a face of discomfort just seeing the scratch. I don't doubt it must've hurt...did he get it from skating earlier with Langa? I didn't even notice Reki looking down at me with so much adoration in his eyes.

"Y/n...when Langa and I reconciled...I confessed him about our kiss. He told me...something that I thought would change things between us but he said he'd rather I be with you than him" Reki said softly making heart beat quicken. Langa. "He actually pushed me to come here to make amends with you. Things are okay between him and I and that should be the same for us"

"Well I'm happy he gave you a push to come here," I tell him as I lifted my hand up to cup his warm squishable cheek.

The red head let out a sweet smile as he moved his face to place a chaste kiss on the palm of my hand. I couldn't help but feel warm at the gesture he did. Reki's face showed a look of puzzlement before he took a deep breath in and out and he reached out to grab a hold of my hands. Making me look at his vibrant amber eyes, as he looked into mine.

"Y/n, when I said that Langa pushed me to come here and when he said he'd rather I be with you...it's because of my feelings for you. The feelings I've began to harbor for you had been going on for such a long time. I know three years isn't much for some people but I felt like we've known each other for more than that. Just being near you gives me reassurance and comfort. I love your smile, your beautiful lively eyes even though sometimes you get those dark under circles or puffy eyes for staying up to long...the way you genuinely laugh is something I adore so much, I love every inch of you. Your insecurities included, your flaws, you really are beautiful Y/n. I know there's days where you feel like you're not good enough for yourself but you are. And you know everyday I always remind you how worthy you are just like you do with me. I know this might change how you see me. You've helped me out so much especially in the recent events that happened. I know I have to accept if you reject my confession but I'm in love with you Y/n and I am willing to start a relationship with you. But if you're not ready or not interested, it's okay, or if you need some time to think about it, I understand. I'll always continue loving you and being your friend"

His warm hands still held mine as he looked at me. I couldn't help but look down at my legs as I was taking in his confession. He's in love with me.

"Reki...what did I do to deserve to have a guy like you?" I say with a gentle smile as I look up at him.

"No, Y/n, what did I do to deserve such a beautiful soul like you? I had took you for granted these past days and just...I've been always blessed to have you in my life" He tells as he let go one of his hands from mine to cup my check.

"Reki, I love you so much more. Your utter excitement and passion for skating, your energetic and easy going personality made me feel things I've never felt before. You really are a big bundle of sunshine, your smile can make anyone smile. I wouldn't mind to date you" I say to him as a look of excitement shined on Reki's face.

"Y/n...my (n/n)" He whispered as he caressed my cheek so gently. He even brushed his thumb over my lips as he seemed to look down at them and then up at me, letting out a smile. "I love you"

(A/n: n/n= Nick name, you can choose whatever ;) )

"And I love you times infinity, Red" I say with a cheeky smile as he gave me a look of defeat but smiled at me.

I couldn't help but chuckle and just lean towards him, as he moved his other hand up to the back of my neck and pulled me closer. I closed my eyes as  our lips were now placed on one another. I lifted up my hand on his cheek, capturing his lips. Our lips moved in syncs so effortlessly, pouring all of our emotions in it, making me feel all fluttery.

Reki moved his right hand off my cheeks, moving it down to intertwined his hand with mine. I could feel his finger gently massaging the back of my neck and hair. Chills ran throughout me as the lack of air was getting to me, making us eventually pull away.

The sound of us catching our breaths was head as we leaned against our foreheads. I looked at him and he did the same as he let out a chuckle. He leaned in once again to kiss my cheek and another on my forehead and the tip of my noise.

I still held his hand as we moved away from each other. Reki then moved down, to lay on my bare thighs as he still held my other hand. I couldn't help but feel at peace as I ran my hand on his fluffy fiery red hair.

Surprisingly my aunt didn't come interrupt us this time. For the rest of the night the two of us spent our time talking and kissing here and there. We even FaceTimed Langa who we accidentally woke up and told him the news in which sleepy Langa paid no attention to as the poor teen knocked out again.

We ended the call with a laugh as we let Langa go to sleep, in the meantime Reki and I talked more about some stuff we never really talked about before. I even showed him a couple videos of my surfing days. Reki did get permission to stay over for the night which I couldn't help but feel excited.

And now we are at the start of a new stage of our relationship together. I wonder how the others will react about this? I might have to ask Langa to bring his spray bottle in case Miya ends up freaking out. But now we have another thing to worry about, the upcoming race with Adam.... Our story doesn't end here, we still have much more to go...
