The New Hero

I find a family??

"Fucckkk, what the hell happened?" I say out loud after I blacked out. As I heard more and more voices in my head I had the sudden urge to follow it. This time it wasn't encouraging me to do something, it was giving me locations, an address. I found the strength to get up and walk where I was being told to. Yea, that sounds stupid, but I don't know I had a good and weird feeling about this. First location was to head over to 133rd street Amsterdam Ave. So, that's exactly what I did. 'Get on the bus' the voice said. I pulled out my metro card got into a bus. I didn't know which one to get on to so I went ahead with the 101 bus. As soon as I went to the 96th street I got out and started walking straight.

As I enter a Main Street, I see a huge tunnel with different openings. So many weapons and spikes were there. There was a river leading up to it. It looked like an underground bunker, but I was absolutely sure that there was no way it could have been built like that and not been flooded.

I banner was flying down with a huge embroidered rose with flames around it. This big of a bunker and no one seems to giving it a weird look. That's extremely strange I wonder. I began just walking straight to the entrance. As I try stopping myself the voice kept telling me 'It's okay, it's safe, it's your family, you are fire and ice you can figure it out'. My family, seriously and what the hell does it mean by 'fire and ice', I heard my mom say that once to me. Yea, now I was getting annoyed, but my feet was just moving by itself. As I entered I felt this excruciating pain all over my body.

I was on fire. Well not quite literally, but it felt like I just took an acid bath which does not feel good. After a few seconds it stopped. I looked around, it was as if I was in a sewer tunnel with water dripping on the brick walls. It was dark, I tossed my ring up in the air landing as a sword in my hand. It created some light so I could at least see where I was going.

I walked more forward as I reached a huge room the size of probably two baseball stadiums. The question I was asking was how is there sunlight if I went underground? Still shocked I looked around, black marble tiles with these bronze and silver statues of I don't know, dogs or ugly creatures like Mr. Conner. There was a huge display stand in the very center with the banner that was outside as well. Walls of red velvet fabric and curtains that were gold. 10 thrones on a couple of steps higher towards the back of the room. The ceiling was covered in glass so that the sky was showing.

All I could say was "Wow this is beautiful." I have never seen such a good looking room before, coming from Harlem in New York, yea having a house like this would be a dream. In the farthest corner a huge mansion door led out to a greenery.

Before I could take a step forward, behind me I heard these snarls. Could've been snakes, but know I saw three heads of snakes on a single male human body. This time no fear in me just pure anger was raging inside of me that kept growing. I had no idea why, but I went along with it.

"Okay, don't know who—I mean what you are, but heads up I'm gonna kill you right now," I say to the thing. The rage that I felt made me powerful and strong and I've never felt like it before. Might as well take it while it lasts.

I felt a tugging sensation in my body, let me just say it wasn't pleasant. Once again by body felt like it was on fire, but also a hint of breeze and it seems to cool of. 'Fire and water' as I say remembering something that my mom used to say of how I was able to destroy life itself which in that case was fire and revive life creating new and helping others which stood for water, I think, and just like how that voice told me I was 'fire and water'.

With all my strength I urged myself to throw my head back yell as hard as my vocal chords could go. "GAAAAAAAHHHH," just as I did that my body became freezing and my right had shot out icicles. Different sizes, but all very sharp and deadly. Next I felt like my body was in water, like I was swimming. From that same hand water came splurging from out throwing the three headed creature backwards.

Seemed like he had some tricks too. He opened all three mouths as different sharp object came fly out.

I had no idea how I knew exactly what was about to happened but I held my left had out, this time my body felt as if I were a hotdog being barbecued. It didn't feel painful though. As I continued to hold out my hand, I took my ground, placing my feet in steady positions as fire and lava cam pouring out of my hand. I aimed as I shot it at the creature. As it crumbled it came down in pieces of chunky fire balls.

As I saw that the fire was gaining on the curtains and walls, I decided I'll be nice and use some water to calm it down.

"Woah, how the hell did you just do that?" I heard I deep stern voice ask. "Honestly, I don't even know," I responded. "I'm Yasmin. Not to be rude but who are you and what is this place? Why the hell are these ugly things hunting me down trying to kill me."

"I'm Jalen, this is the only safe place for you, those were monsters trying to well um sort of eat you and kill you, it's nice to meet you. Welcome, this is your new family."

"Whatttt?"
