Red Strings (Shinso Hitoshi X Reader)

Chapter two [The shock]

"I just don't really pay much attention to my surroundings... And I also don't go outside much either" Shinso would bashfully say before he carefully set Soul down on the grass when they were on her yard. Soul would feel quite taken back from being put down. He would whine with a meow, wanting to go back to being in Shinso's arms. Shinso would joking roll his eyes at the whining feline and picked him back up. "Alright fine... I'll hold onto you for just a little bit longer. Your almost as bad as Mittens" The lavender boy chuckled as he looked over at (Y/N).

"Since Soul doesn't seem to want you to leave. You can come in for a bit." (Y/N) would smile as she would lead Shinso inside.

"(Y/N) is that you?"

The girl would look forward to see her mother. "Oh hey mom. I just got back from closing the cafe" She would say before her mother would look over towards Shinso and smiled "I see. And thank you dear for closing up the shop for me... And who might this be? Soul seems to be taking a liking to him, which that's quite new" The woman would smile at the lavender boy.

"Hitoshi Shinso... Its nice to meet you Mrs.(L/N)"

Shinso would shyly introduce himself. "He's a friend from school... And he's also our neighbor from next door" (Y/N) would explain before setting Sushi down while he waddled towards the couch. "Oh my. Are you serious?! your Hitoshi? You're Mihoko's and Hajime's son" (M/N) would gasp with a smile on her face. Shinso would raise a brow in surprised, while (Y/N) would do the same. "You know my parents?" The boy would ask while the woman nodded.

"Of course I do. Your mother was my best friend from high school. Sometimes I'll visit her from time to time to spill some tea... Now you there. Have grown up so much since the last time I saw you. You've grown into a handsome young man. You were just a little kid but now your so grown. You and (Y/N) used to be such good friends when you two were little. Always playing house together, causing some sort of mischief. You two were just the cutest... Although sadly we had to move away for a couple of years to take care of great grandma until it was her time to pass. It seemed that you two must've forgotten each other." (M/N) would explain to the two of them which they were just in utter shock from the information that they received.

"WE WERE WHAT?!"

They both yelled in confusion before the two would look at each other in disbelief. "Mom why didn't you say this like a long time ago?" (Y/N) was still in utter shock before she tried to remember her childhood which was still a bit blurry. She could only remember from where they were living with their great grandma's when she was four... Thats when she developed her quirk. But from before then it was pretty blurry, although she kinda sorta recalled those lavender eyes... It was those lavender eyes was all she could remember. She remembered she always thought they were quite pretty.

"Do you know how many times Mihoko and I tried to get you two to see each other and make you remember... (Y/N). You were always busy with karate classes and hanging out with Alex from your elementary school. Hitoshi was always busy studying from what I heard Mihoko recall... Now you two must be really shocked. So I'll let you two be and talk it out... Hitoshi you dear are welcome anytime " (M/N) would chuckle before leaving the two.

Shinso would look at (Y/N) with disbelief and shock... "I had no idea..." He would say before (Y/N) would lead the boy to her room so they could talk it out. "I didn't either... But the more that I think about it... I kinda do remember... Not much though. But I remember those lavender eyes of yours... I think now its starting to come back to me" (Y/N) would say with a quiet sigh escaping her lips as she sat on the edge of her bed and looked over towards Shinso and stared into his lavender eyes.

The lavender boy would look at the (H/C) girl with his lavender eyes gazing into her (E/C) ones. "Same here... Im starting to remember that little girl who would always try to braid my hair when I was four and who would share her cookies with me" He would quietly chuckle. Before (Y/N) would start to laugh a little "You know what. I do remember this one memory with you. I don't know why but this would always sometimes randomly pop up in my mind once in a while... It was the first time you developed your quirk. Your mom took us to Mcdonalds, and you asked her if we could get some chicken nuggets. But when she said no, you activated your quirk and managed to get us some chicken nuggets... That was an awesome day" (Y/N) would bust out laughing from the memory which got Shinso quite flustered.

"Your right... That was pretty awesome... But... I remember how sad I was when I found out that you moved away... To be honest. Right now I just don't really know how to feel" Shisno would say before he looked down at Soul and carefully set him down. (Y/N) would look down as well "I don't know how to feel about this either... I wish I knew... But now... We know, we can just start over can't we?" (Y/N) would say with a small smile spread across her lips before getting up and held out her hand.

"Hiya. My name is (Y/N) (L/N). Its nice to meet you. I like karate, drawing, and listening to music"

Shinso would smile as he would gently take her hand and felt some sort of shock between them.

"Hello. My name in Hitoshi Shinso, its nice to meet you too. I like cats, biking, and studying"

(Y/N) would smile, feeling quite happy to reunite with her long lost childhood friend. her body would suddenly feel quite warm and fuzzy along with that small shock between the when they touched. For some reason she didn't want this feeling to end.

Shinso would soon look outside to see it's really gotten dark. A small sigh would escape his lips "Well I should actually get going right now before my parents start to really worry" He was a little upset since he didn't want to leave. He wanted to get to know the girl even more. But that can wait till tomorrow, since they do have school together

"Alright. I understand. Well then... I can always text you since I have your number now" She would have a grin on her face as she would walk the lavender boy out of her room and lead him towards the door. "As long as you don't spam me" The boy would joke before he was about to open the door. (Y/N) would stop him for a moment.

"Shinso wait!"

Shinso would stop himself before he looked over at the girl. "Hmm? What is it?"

"Can I call you Hitoshi?"

Shinso's cheeks suddenly dusted in a pink color as he felt a warm fuzzy feeling in his stomach.

"Yeah... You can if you want" A small smile would spread across his lips before he opened the door "Well... I'll see you tomorrow. (Y/N)" He would say his goodbye and leave before shutting the door on his way out. (Y/N) would end up smiling quite happily with her cheeks slightly turning rosy.

"Hitoshi..."

She would say his name as if it felt forbidden.

Soon the girl would head back into her room flopped on her bed with a wide grin on her face "Who knew that Lavender boy was that boy I used to play with before I moved away... What if..." She would quietly say before her eyes would look out the window and stared at the moon.

"What if it was fate?"
