Red Strings (Shinso Hitoshi X Reader)

Chapter two [The shock]

(Y/N) would almost drop the broom and turned just a little flushed "Well... I am looking for something... I just don't know what I'm looking for..." The girl softly laughed a little.

"I could say the same. people always seem to be looking for something, and sometimes they don't even know what they're even looking for." Shinso would say while he stood up from the chair and stretched himself.

Once (Y/N) was finished cleaning she would let out a small yawn and stretched out her arms. "You are not wrong. Everyone seems to be looking for something. I know Im looking forward to sleep" She would use one hand to rub her eye. Shinso would chuckle "Someone seems tired. How about I walk you home?" He would ask while his lavender eyes gazed upon (Y/N)'s (E/C) eyes.

(Y/N) would slightly turn pink "Ah you don't have to do that. You should probably get home. I can make it home on my own. Im sure your parents are worried or something" The girl would say as she would put on her jacket. "I don't mind really. Come on. I'll walk you home" Shinso would smile at the girl.

"Alright then If you insist. Luckily I don't live very far from here" (Y/N) would say as she would grab the two cats that were just chilling on the counter and lead Shinso to the back of the cafe so the girl can finally lock up the cafe. "Same here. Thats why Im not to worried about my parents" He would say as he followed (Y/N) towards the back. Once they got outside, (Y/N) would lock the back door to the shop. Once she did so. The two would start walking in the dark together. She would look over towards Shinso

"Hey do you mind holding Soul? Holding two cats are kinda too heavy for me to carry without me dropping them... And Sushi is pretty heavy" (Y/N) would softly chuckle before Shinso would automatically take Soul off of her arms and carried him in his. "Its no problem. I don't mind carrying this little guy." The lavender boy would chuckle while he would gently give Soul ear scritches., which got the cat purring uncontrollably.

"Awe. I never seem Soul this comfortable with a stranger before" (Y/N) smiled. "Well... Im pretty good with cats. They are my favorite animal" Shinso would tell her as his eyes stared towards the girl with a small smile forming on his lips. "I can see that. You do seem like a cat person Shinso. And you kinda look like a cat too, which thats a bonus. We'll have to get you some cat ears" She would joke quite amused before letting out a quick gasp "Oh my gosh we need to get you a pair of cat ears. You would look so cute"

Suddenly. Shinso would turn quite pink from the girl's comment. 'C-Cute?' the boy would think to himself quite embarrassed. "Cute?" Shinso would look at her with a rose brow.

(Y/N) would suddenly turn quite flushed as she started to stutter "I-I m-mean you would look cute with the cat ears on. I mean you are kinda cute in general, I just mean that you'll look cuter with cat ears on... You know what. I'll just shut up now" She would say before she looked forward to see her house up ahead. "Oh why don't you look at that. Here's my house... " (Y/N) would turn a little pink as she held Sushi close to her, trying to hide her embarrassed expression. Shinso would let out a soft chuckle escape his lips "Heh... Im only messing with you". He thought that the girl's reaction was just preciously cute. The thought of it would only make the lavender boy turn even more pink. Soon he would look forward to see her house. His eyes widen for a moment to see that it was quite familiar.

"Wait?... This is your house?" Shinso would suddenly speak with a surprised tone. (Y/N) would nod "Yep. You sound surprised." She would quietly chuckle. Shinso would look over towards the house next to it "Thats because... My house is right over there" Shinso would point towards the house next to hers which made the girl gasp quite surprised. "Wait really? I had no idea that we were neighbors!... I mean I don't really go outside much... And I don't head home once school is over, usually I get home till late... Since I work and such" (Y/N) would nervously used her free hand to scratch the back of her head.
