Red Strings (Shinso Hitoshi X Reader)

Chapter two [The shock]

(Y/N) would turn flushed as she would start making Yuki her favorite frappe. "I do what I can" She would say as she finished up making the frappe and handed it to Yuki who seemed overly excited about coffee. (Y/N) would sit down and let out a relieved sigh that she didn't have to do much today. Soon enough Sushi and Soul would waddle their way towards Shinso and meowed for attention. "Oh yay! Your mom brought the fur babies!" Yuki smiled as she would try to take Soul. But Soul would hiss before hoping onto Shinso's lap and purred. Shinso would chuckle as he would give Soul his attention by petting the feline. "Hey there buddy..." He would start chatting with the cat. (Y/N) would smile as she picked up Sushi and placed him on the table and started to give Sushi some attention too.

"Awe no fair... You guys get cuddles from cute kitties" Yuki whined. "Maybe you shouldn't be so loud then you would probably get at least Sushi's attention... But with Soul... I don't think so. He's pretty selective" (Y/N) would laugh before she realized something from a couple a few years ago. She would soon start to become lost in thought and stared off in the distance. Shinso would notice as he looked over towards her. "You okay (Y/N)?" The lavender boy would ask, Yuki would also look over at her.

"Huh? Oh... Sorry... I was just thinking of something that my mom said a while ago" (Y/N) Would snap back into reality and took out a deck of cards. "Alright who wants to play poker? We can use the cookies for chips" She would chuckle while the other two would agree and started to play some poker and talk about life to pass on the time.

'When you truly find your soulmate... Your eyes will start to open' (Y/N) would remember what her mother said to her. 'I wonder what mom meant by that?' The girl would think to herself before she looked over at her hand of cards and smirked a little. 'Well... This should be fun.

After a while later, it was already seven and it started to get dark.

"God dammit! How the hell do you do it?!" Yuki would slam her fist on the table with one cookie on her plate while (Y/N) had ten and Shinso with twenty cookies on his plate. "I'm not sure... But you need to practice your poker face more... You give it away pretty easily" Shinso would explain with an amused chuckle. "I can't do that. You and (Y/N) have the perfect resting bitch faces. How the hell am I supposed to compete with that ?" Yuki would whine.

"Its called practice?" (Y/N) would tease the silver haired girl. Yuki rolled her eyes and looked outside and noticed how dark it was. She then looked on her phone and checked how late it was. "Shit... I gotta go. My mom is making her home made ramen tonight. You know that I can't miss that shit sweetheart! Im stealing the rest of the mochi" Yuki would quickly get up and started to pack her things up and get going by using the back door "See ya tomorrow bitch! And bye Shinso... Take care of my girl will ya!" Yuki would tease before quickly scurrying off. "Hmm? What did she mean by that?" Shinso would mumble a little bit confused before a sigh escaped his lips

"Shut up Yuki!" (Y/N) would roll her eyes as she took the empty plates and set them in the back before coming back out. Her eyes would look towards Shinso and smiled "You can go home if you like. I have to stay back and clean up a little before I lock up" She would say before taking the empty plates. "Here I'll help out... I honestly didn't think I would have this much fun today. I really thought it was just gonna be the same thing like usually" Shinso would end up smiling back at the girl.

"You don't need to help out. It' my job anyways, and I'm glad that you had fun Shinso. I'll admit, I like getting to know you. Your fun to hang around with" (Y/N) would softly chuckle as she would grab a broom and started to sweep up the place a little.

The lavender boy's cheek's would dust in pink before he averted his eyes "I like getting to know you too... I've always thought you were interesting..." He would say before he looked through the window. "You always looked out at the window as if your were searching for something"
