Why did we have to compromise our friendship?

We were the best of friends.

How could we not have known that acknowledging our love would

ruin us?

We were blind, and tried to be together anyway.

We know the result, we don't talk and I fear we never will.

My heart still skips a few beats when i see you.

It's painful walking along the same hallways that last year we walked

hand in hand.

I know you feel those sparks when we lock eyes, because you look away

fast.

Why can't we do anything about those spark?

I know you want it as bad as I do, I see that longing in your eyes.

Please, can we try again?

I know we can make it work this time! I can't lose you!
