hidden in the shadows,
your secrets live,
they've escaped,
from your body.
running through the night,
ducking out of sight,
ready to expose you,
and show what's true.
your life has been a lie,
your ready to die,
your heart is dying,
as you are trying.
when you think you've reached the end,
and your ready to jump,
you feel a tug at the end of the rope,
it's life pulling you back to where you belong.
it's a little thing called hope,
a person or people don't control you,
you're the only you,
so if you do jump your wiping out an original.
it's like throwing out a half eaten sandwhich,
you think no one will notice,
no one will care,
trust me I care.
a life is like a glass vase,
once dropped,
it's gone,
shattered.
it's the pain burning inside of you,
the feeling of being alone,
the torture of life,
just remember one thing,
you only get one,
and it's yours.
some people had one,
used it till it's last drop,
and some people had one,
but lost it half way,
and some people never got the experience to have one,
it's like taking a life,
and burning it.
as you've watched the wind sweep the ash of a life away,
you stop and wonder,
why,
and you see life from a your real perspective,
the true one.
