and the normal bold is narrator talkin or me

and the normal no bold is third/first person view of Y/N

"Y/N don't forget to come back the as soon as it hits morning ok"

'OK dad I wont forget, as soon as it hits dawn ill be racing home' I said with a grin

You see I was on my way to town to get some food and supplies for my family. I was the only one not doing anything at the moment, there's me my dad and my little brother Jack. Sadly mom passed away a few years ago to the hands of...demons... ever since then I've grown a hate for them, but I could never do anything, dad always told me its too dangerous but who cares i can take them on no problem

I make my way to town and see one of my friends Tanjiro he was always a nice guy, never said no to helping anyone, hell you could be dying of a wound to your throat and he'd still try and find a way to help you.

'Yo Tanjiro how's it goin?'

"Oh hey Y/N, I'm just going to town to sell some charcoal, gotta make sure everyone has something to eat for the night." 

'That's awesome, maybe I can buy some, we're actually running low and i was going to town to get some stuff.'

We continue to converse as we make our way to town, once we made it everyone was greeting us as usual, me and Tanjiro are considered opposites seeing he's the nice one and I'm the not so nice, I mean i can be nice when I want to.

"Is that all Y/N?"

'Ah yes that'll do sir, thanks for doing business and have a nice day.'

[see I can be nice]

I see Tanjiro walking down the street and I wave him over

'Holy Moly you sold everything. Damn i wanted to buy some too, eh we can manage for a another week or two.' 

We were about to part ways before Saburo called us to stay the night

"Oi you two better stay the night tonight, don't want to come across any demons"

I flinched when he said the word but i shoved it aside and walk towards the house with Tanjiro behind

"Saburo what are demons like?"

"Man eating demons have always prowled the land once it gets dark. That's why you don't stroll at night,"

'Pfft I'll just beat them before they beat me.' I say high and mighty before getting a serious look from Saburo

Both Tanjiro and Saburo kept talking but i decided to call it a night as I didn't wanna hear then talk about demons and all that.

*TimeSkip the night*

'yawn Huh guess I'm the fist one up. See you some other time Tanjiro'

I got up and folded the futon Saburo laid out for me and headed home. On my way home I started getting anxious.

[Dammit what Saburo said is getting me anxious, maybe ill pick up the pace.]

I started jogging now, afraid of what happened whilst I was gone. I was getting closer and heard a scream. Which startled me and I began running. But when I got there it was too late, there was blood everywhere...

'N-N-No this can't be. I w-w-was gone for one day. DAMMIT!!!'

"Oi whos out there?"

A figure appeared out of my house, said person had white hair with scars all over him and he was carrying a blade

W-Who the hell are you?!?! we both said at the same time

'These people are, no were my family'

"Hmmm well demons came and slaughtered them So I came here to slaughter the demons. Now ba bye"

the man started to walk away

'WAIT!'

He turned around to look at the traumatized teen

"Whaddya want?"

'I want you to teach me..'

"Teach you what?"

'TEACH ME HOW TO KILL DEMONS!!!'

The mans monotone face turned into a evil grin

"HA HA HA THATS WHAT IM TALKIN ABOUT! If you want me to help you then I gotta test you to see if your even worthy enough to become my pupil. The names Sanemi, Sanemi Shinazugawa"

Sanemi threw his blade into the snow and dashed at me

"Lets see how you hold up against a Hashira"

[What the hells a Hashira?] 

I braced for impact and was pushed back a few feet from his punch

[holy shit this guys strong]

I go for a jab to his ribs hoping hed block and went for a spinning backfist to the face. He blocked as I thought and my plan succeeded, but only angered the white haired man even more

"So you got some battle smarts, So what your nothin compared to me, there are demons even more powerful then me then what'll you do huh?"

'I'LL KILL THEM BEFORE THEY CAN EVEN GET THE CHANCE!!!! HAAAAA!'

I brought my fist down on his shoulder catching him by suprise, but he wasn't affected and gut punched me and getting knocked unconscious  

"Sigh you've got potential i'll give ya that. And just for that I think you'd be an ok student, Ill give him just one more test, see how hell do against a demon"

The Hashira known as Sanemi has taken a liking to Y/N. Now what will Y/N upon his next test, a fight to the death!!!

Now to skip ahead through time 

"Oi wake up. Hey WAKE UP DAMMIT!!"

'AHHHHHH!! Wait where am I? Oh shit its night"

"Don't worry you got me. Now for your final test, take this blade and kill that demon"

Sanemi tossed a blade to me the blade I unsheathed it, I could see my reflection. I looked at the demon with hatred

'You die today'

"Ha like someone like you could kill me. Dont get me started. Hahahaha"

The demon laughing only fueled Y/N more as he ran towards the demon bringing the blade down slicing the demons arm in the process.

"Seems like the kids got guts huh Giyu?"

"I guess, but can he really kill it?"

[die die die die die die die]

'DIE ALREADY YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!!'

Y/N sliced the demons head clean off catching the person known as Giyu off guard. and started cutting the demons body into pieces, still in full rage

"Oi kid whats your name?"

Y/N snapped out of his anger and looked at the two men

'Y/N Ryan'

"Ok Y/N, well the demons dead"

'oh'

Y/N got up and sheathed the blade and tried to hand it back to Sanemi

"Oh no no, thats for you to keep, come young padawan, you've a long way to go, follow me."

And so Y/N has finally begun his path of becoming a demon slayer, but does he truly have what it takes? find out next chapter
