Ivy's POV.
I was never really apart of the world, my parent's Frank and Imogen Parker are both actors with camera's always shoved in their faces. They kept us away from all of the paparazzi and critics, which I'm kind of thankful for because, If they wouldn't have.. I'd probably be blind by all the flashing lights. Living in this family has It's fair share of good times and bad times. My sister Farah was introduced to the media at a young age. Her being born before me gave her the oppurtunity to become something already. My mom wanted something different for me, so she kept me locked up in our insanely huge house since a young age. Coming out of the house for special occassions and family get-aways. I never let the money that my parents had get to my head. My sister on the other hand has let the money get to her head. She asks for just about everything, which my parents don't hesitate to give her. She's probably gonna grow up to be just like my parents, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But me.. I don't want to be rich or famous, I just want to be normal. I know that highly un-likely with who my parents are. But I won't hurt to try.
"Ivy, I need your help carrying in my bags. Thank you." My sister sang down the hall-way, hinting for me to get up out of bed.
"Don't we have people to do that for us?" I said, already aggravated with this conversation.
"It's Valentines Day, Ivy. People have lives to live.. Just help me already." She said struggling with the bags.
I'd soon help her carry in all her heavy Victoria Secret bags. What did she buy, PINK bricks? My fingers have offically had enough of all this.. And I was relieved to see all the bags were up in her room already.
"No thank you?!" I yelled up to her room from the bottom of the white and gold stair-case.
"Thank--" Her voice got muffled as I heard her door slam. With a roll of my eyes I was off to the kitchen.
"Hey honey, sleep well?" My mom said with a glittering and beautiful smile.
"I guess you could say that. Didn't get much sleep last night." I said in all-honesty.
"Do you need a new bed or something?" She said already pulling up the most expensive beds.
"No, not that. I just had a lot on my mind." I said getting a laugh out of my mother.
"About what? You've got the most easiest life babygirl." She said moving a strand of hair behind my ear.
"I know that, just a little stress. Maybe I just need to get out of the house for a little bit." I said.
"The poparazzi would eat you up, If you went out there." My mom said not looking away from her computer screen.
"Well, I can't stay in here all the time!" I raised my voice earning a rather confused glare from my mother.
"And why not? We have almost everything." She said looking back to her computer screen.
My mother needs to understand that I need a social life, I have no friends. And my sister's to annoying to handle.
"How come Farah can leave?" I said looking at her with a glare.
"Because she's more expierenced with those camera's. She always has been, I just don't want you to be exposed to the world as much as she has been. I want you to have a life." She said with concern and a hint of love behind her words.
"Well, I can't have a life.. If I'm stuck in here all the time." I said pouring cereal into a bowl.
"You're not always stuck in here, Ivy.." My mom lied.
"I haven't been out of the house in forever mom.. And you know that." I said glaring at her.
"I guess your right. I'll give you two hours to go anywhere you like. Take the SUV, and keep your phone on you at all times!" She said in a loving demanding way.
"Really?!" I jumped up and down with excitement.
"Yeah, just be careful sweetheart." She said kissing my forehead.
I ran up to my room and changed faster than I ever have before. I had to make sure I looked nice, just in case I did run into tons of camera men. I wouldn't want my bad dicisions to impact my parents reputation. I threw on a pale green skirt, with a white flowy shirt. I couldn't help but admire how I looked in the mirror before I left.
"Where are you going?" My sister said looking at me in the doorway.
"Anywhere but here, why?" I said back looking at her in the mirror.
"No reason, you look really pretty." She said smiling at me.
"Thanks sissy. I'll see you later, make sure mom doesn't fall over on that computer." I said with a laugh.
"No problem babygirl, I will." She said kissing my forehead as I walked out. "Be safe!" She yelled out at me.
I stuck my thumb up and ran down to the garage, grabbing the keys to the SUV from the key-box. I quickly unlocked the car door and slid in.
