It's night time. My mother left, and the doctors know. The lights in my room are off but the TV is still on. I like watching TV before I go to bed. My eyes start to close. I'm really tired. I'm about to turn off the TV but suddenly, it turns off by itself. It's pitch black. I'm scared. The light turns on and I see Ana standing at the end of my bed. I yelp.
"Ana....go away!" I say.
She just stands there staring at me.
"Why can't you let me go? Why do you think about me all the time? I'm the one who got you into this mess. If you don't fix this, I'll just ruin your life."
"You already have."
"Then let me go."
"I can't..." I start to cry.
"Why not?" She asks tilting her head.
"Because.....your my best friend. I can't forget about you."
"Aww. Your my best friend too. I have an idea."
"What is it?" I ask.
"I kill you, or you kill yourself, and we can be happy together. We both will run around town with no one watching us. It will just be me and you." She reaches her hand out for me to take it in agreement.
"Are you nuts! I'm not doing any of that stuff!"
"Alright. Then I guess I have to force you to."
"What?" I get scared. My heart pounds like crazy. What is she gonna do?! She walks out the door. Whew. I feel relived. She's gone. For now. Now I can get some sleep. I walk over to the light switch and turn it off. I lay in bed and try to fall asleep. I'm almost asleep until the light turns on again. I get started and look over to my left where Ana stands by the door with a doctor's tool. It has a sharp point at the end of it. Oh no....is she going to kill me? Herself? Oh no...no!
She walks over to me and places her hand that is free from the tool on my forehead. I can feel her. I can feel how she used to feel. I can finally feel the Ana i used to know and she's touching me right now. But wait...she's not real. This Ana is not real. She moves her hand down towards my hair and runs it. "Don't worry. This will all be quick friend." She raises the tool and I scream before she stabs me with it. I scream so loud that all the doctors and nurses come in the room and Ana disappears and the doctor's tool falls to the floor.
"Ana what's wrong?!" One of the doctor's says.
"Ana...she tried...she tried to..." I can't speak, I just let out tears.
"It's okay sweetie." Says one of the nurses and she hugs me.
"No! Don't touch me! Everyone go away!" I yell angrily. And they all leave.
