I am Riley Malfoy. I was born on April 1, 1978 to Narcissa Malfoy and Lucius Malfoy, at least I think they are my parents. I knew I was very different from my family. I had red hair while my family had platinum blonde hair. My younger brother was 2 years younger than me and got his hair from our dad.
I was two when Draco was born. My dad made me stay with Dobby, our house elf while he took mum to the hospital. A couple weeks later, mum came home with a baby boy with the Malfoy platinum blonde hair and gray eyes. "Hey Riley, we named your baby brother Draco." Mum says and I smile widely. "That's a good name mommy." I reply and I take him, being careful not to drop him.
~time skip 9 years~
DATE: August 18, 1989. I wake up and walk downstairs. I quickly grab the mail and see a Hogwarts letter addressed to me. "Mum I got my Hogwarts letter!" I shout and Draco runs over to me, taking it from me.
"Give it back Draco. You have two more years until you get yours." I flick his ear and he gives me the letter. I walk into the kitchen and show my mum the materials I need for school.
"We can get the materials next week when we go to Hogsmeade." She says and I nod, leaving to play with Draco. Draco and I play outside until it gets dark.
FRED'S POV
"Mum our Hogwarts letters came." I say, handing George's, Percy's and my letter to her. "Thanks for giving these to me Fred. We can go next week and we will manage to get these, even if they are second hand." She replies, George and I going to play on our brooms outside.
We ride on our brooms for a few hours and come in all tired. We go to bed and wake up the next morning, planning on pranking Percy like usual. Setting it up, we wait until Percy comes down and he falls for the prank. Mum yells at us and takes our prank materials from us for the day.
~time skip to the next week~
RILEY'S POV
I practically jump down the stairs from how excited I was. Today's the day we go to Hogsmeade for my school supplies. Draco is bouncing after me. "Woah kids. Settle down." Mum says and we settle down.
Dad has a scowl on his face like usual when we see him. "Dad can you at least look happy for once please." I ask and he turns towards me. "Be quiet Riley." He responds and I nod.
We leave the manor and go to Hogsmeade to get the supplies. Going into Gringotts, mum and dad get me the money for all of the supplies, plus some extra for snacks and school materials that weren't on the list.
"Let's get my wand first at Ollivanders." I say and we walk over to the wand shop. The bell rings when we open the door and an elderly man looked up.
"Ah the Malfoy family. You must be Riley Malfoy." He says and I nod. He gets a couple wands from the back and brings them up. "Twelve inches, maple wood, unicorn hair, fairly flexible." He gives me the wand and I give it a flick, making lots of wands falling off the shelves.
