To be honest, I've seen very little Sticks x reader stories. And even though I read one other before writing this one, I want to inspire others to join in on writing their own as well. So if you're interested in writing one, then here's a list of stuff to remember:
1. The reader's gender must be made clear consistently, since there's always those people who just make the story for the gender opposite of the one intended.
2. Be as detailed as you can be, since the more effort in these stories is better than none at all. (From what I have seen on fanfics. #NoHate )
3. Lengthy chapters, pretty easy to explain. Just add more to your chapters.
4. Give some honest thought into what you write. Some people just write these fanfics with no real thought into them, and it's not even fun to read these things if it's all 'You wanna see more? To bad, I don't care what you want.'
And finally 5. Write the fanfics that you want to read. Since it's usually the writer who writes it, why not write the fanfics the writer themself will enjoy?
Oh, and grammer. That one is also important. Since you'll need to check for mistakes, spell certain words correctly, and even have proper capitalization. Right? Obvious writing lesson is obvious.
But every bit of a story counts, like painting a picture that reflects you as a person. You want others to see what you're actually like, not be all 'We're done, where's the remote?'
Thank you for reading this note, and I hope we can all agree that this is what future writers can agree on. And also, I hope to see future fanfics. See you next time.
