After I got home I ran to my room, waiting for Brendon to call. I plugged my headphones into my phone. Just then my phone started playing my ring-tone. It was an unknown number so it had to be Brendon. 

"hello?" i tried not to sound to excited.

"is this Sadie?" the voice on the phone asked. it was Brendon!

"yes it is!" i smiled knowing he couldn't see me.

"Hello Sadie!" just hearing him say my name made me blush.

his voice was sweet and soothing. we talked for the rest of the night asking basic questions like, whats your favorite color? or What school do you go to? he said his favorite color was red and he goes to the college here in town, he is a sophomore in college. i told him my favorite color was orange and that i was graduating from Charleston High in May then would head to the college he is going to, Nevada state university.

"Hey I'm gonna go its 2 in the morning." I chuckled waiting for his response.

"OK same but before you go....would you like to go out on a date?" He asked.

"Hell yeah!" We both laughed at my response then hung up.

I put my phone on my night stand then turned off my lamp. I laid on my bed smiling like an idiot. after just one day i feel as though i have fallen in love. i closed my eyes and began to dream about our date. 

 ~sunday morning~

i practically jumped out of bed. i got dressed in a orange sweater and skinny jeans. i put my light brown hair in a side braid then put on a small amount of makeup. i spritzed myself in perfume then put on deodorant. i went downstairs and saw my mom making some toast.

"Morning!" i said cheerfully.

"morning whats got you so happy?" my mom looked at me with her brown eyes, flipping her golden hair in the process.

"ok so yesterday, when i went over to Riley's house, i saw this really cute guy moving in next door." i smiled remembering our conversation last night.

"did you get his number?" my mom poked my arm.

"yes i did!" we both squealed.

"you go girl!" my mom said in a sassy tone.

"So last night we talked until 2am, and he asked me out!" i was smiling ear to ear now.

"are you gonna go out today?" my mom seemed happy for me, " if so just make sur he is nothing like your father." my father and my mom split a year ago and my mom always talked shit about him.

" yes i know mom don't let him be a douche to me. you have told me that ever since you and dad split." i laughed.

i checked my phone for any messages and sure enough i had one message, from Brendon.

Brendon: Hey wanna meet at the park?
Me: Yeah sure!

i raced to put my converse on then ran to my car. 

i pulled up to the park and saw one other car. i saw Brendon sitting on park bench holding something in his hands. i got out and called to him.

"hey!" Brendon turned to look at me.

he was holding a small stuffed panda! I can't believe He knew my favorite animal!

"Is that for me?" I asked.

"Yes it is beautiful!" He handed the animal to me but I saw that the back was open.

I flipped the bear over and saw two FOB concert tickets. I almost died from happiness.

"OMG YOU GOT ME FOB TICKETS! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!" I wrapped my arms around his neck. He slid his hands around my waist and hugged me back.

"You can take your friend to!" He smiled and pulled me even closer. I couldnt Wait to tell Riley!
