After the young princess returned home from Russia her sketchbook filled with lovely sketches of ladies in grand dresses. One such sketch is of a Russian lady in a tiara and a weddding dress. While one may interpret this as young Alix's recollection of her elder sister's wedding, most have come to think this is her daydreaming about being a Romanov bride. Or even her subconsciously loving Nicholas.
