Amara Pierson
I carve another thin line into the front door, representing the second month in this place all alone. I don't even know where I am. The last thing I remember is sitting at home with Raven and Ace, my siblings.
I open the door, standing right outside it, and breathe in the fresh, cool air. A gust of wind makes my fluffy hair dance in the wind and I close my eyes. It was so peaceful here. No need to worry about money, and no need to worry about getting to work on time. No seven-year-old squeaky voices saying, "Amara, Raven set the couch on fire with her magic again!". No need to worry about controlling my magic. No one here to disturb me because I was alone. Believe me, I've checked. I called everywhere that I could think of for the first few days, but not one person answered. I'm not even mad that I'm stuck here. I've got everything I need in this place. There's a couple of shops a few blocks down, keys and a car is right outside, and a lovely little house that I spend my nights in. So, why bother trying to get out of this place? I've got it all.
