Part 7

TW: ANXIETY ATTACK

I would have traded anything not to see this person. It was Arden's father. Biological father. What's worse is he was with another girl. I felt my face drain all colour it had. My eyes widened and suddenly I fell into fight or flight. My whole body started trembling . Tears filled my eyes. My hand dropped everything. I suddenly fell into the flashbacks, his charming smile, his fake promises to me, his two- faced personality, the way I got sucked in, the way he manipulated me and everyone around him. The day I told him I was pregnant with his child, where he raged with anger, broke up with me and forbade all contact with me and when Arden was born stopped all contact that could happen with her. When he blamed me for not being 'protective' enough and wanting to do this on purpose.

I saw the  innocent girl. Slowly being sucked in, about to make the biggest mistake in her life. I saw me ,the dates we would go out exactly like this. The promises of starting our own family and him always being there for me. I watched as he was about to go through her like like another piece of Kleenex.
I needed CeCe right now.

CeCe pov:
I wanted to go and see how Brooke was doing and knew she was buying clothes for Arden , I went to the toddler section and as I was walking shock hit me like a truck. Arden's biological father was there. Brooke's ex. I knew everything he put her through, the nights she spent crying into my arms, the way he cut her and Arden off . I saw Brooke around 3 meters away completely shocked and panicked.

I ran to her, she was hanging onto the rail for dear life. I got her to cross her legs and sit down on the floor .
"Breathe in and out."
"In for three seconds."
She started  breathing
"Out for three seconds and repeat the pattern."
She kept on breathing. I swiftly got my phone and texted Louis and told him if Brooke came to his looking shaken up to instantly comfort her.
I kept on trying to help her breathe until she calmed down. I knew Brooke, she wouldn't want me there any longer and she was going to leave. She left and looked at me not to follow her. I nodded at her and she stood up with her bags and left the shop like Houdini.

Out of anger I walked up to Noel, Brooke's ex, and spoke
"Is this your new victim?"
"Why hello CeCe Drake." He said smirking.
"Why hello Noel Kahn, are you planning your escape with this girl once you get her pregnant with your kids" I shot back
He rolled his eyes,
"How many times do I say this , Brooke didn't protect herself and here is her punishment."
"Punishment. Really? You leaving your daughter is a punishment?"
He was silent and his new hook up for the night was silent.
"So it's a girl huh?"
"Don't act like you don't know you have people someone would have told you."
He stayed silent.
" Who's this your new victim to get her into a suitation like Brooke's and disappear like Houdini?"
She looked at me confused.
"I don't know if you know but he got my best friend pregnant. And left her too. That should you give a good red flag. If you think he loves you, your wrong, your only satisfaction to his dick that's what it. Nothing special to him hon. Don't make a mistake." I spoke.
I walked out of Primark. Louis had texted me that Brooke was going to come and pick up Arden and he knew what he had to do to help her. I waited for the bus to Brooke's house so I could meet her there. She had a spare key and she always wants me there if she's angry like this so I was going to sit and wait for her until she came.

Brooke's pov
I rode the bus and went to Louis's house. I arrived and knocked. Louis answered.
"Can I have Arden?" I spoke my voice breaking.
"Come in, Brooke" Louis replied
"No. I need Arden." I said
He took my hand and brought me into his embrace. At that point I couldn't, I burst into tears in his arms. He brought me up to his room.  He let me cry with no judging and told me everything would be okay.

Louis pov
I could see Brooke falling apart in my arms, she was breaking apart I let her cry. I texted Millie to keep Arden with her. Brooke then spoke

Brooke pov
I explained everything to Louis. I ranted to him. He listened so carefully.  He let me speak without disturbing me. When I had finished he said this to me.

"Noel is a jerk for letting a badass like you fall away and leaving his daughter and her mother. Your better off without him Brooke. You are doing amazing and no matter where you seem him remember you have me, CeCe, Arden my sisters even. Everyone loves you and he's a real ass for making the mistake of abandoning you."

I smiled at him and thanked him. He told me he will always be here no matter what. I smiled at that. I liked him, he was a cutie. He grabbed Arden from Millie. I thanked Millie and Issie and gave them a hug. Louis dropped Arden and I at home. I saw CeCe there as the light was on and I felt so grateful for having her be there for me. I hugged Louis and Arden and I left his car. I thanked him and left.

Louis pov
I felt disgusted and angry at what Noel done to Brooke and Arden. It was horrible and I promised  myself and Brooke I would always be there for her no matter what.

I dropped Brooke at home. I only knew her for two weeks but she made me feel something on the inside. I watched her walk home until CeCe opened the door for her and she was safe.

She would be mine soon. Whatever it took.
