"What makes you so special that I can't speak facts with you?" Doyoung asked.

Haruto scoffed again and went back to sleep.

Doyoung felt his blood boil but he tried to calm down. He wasn't going to let his first day get ruined because of some stuck up prick.

The lesson ended and a boy who was sitting in front of doyoung, turned around to face him, when he saw that haruto had gone to the toilet.

"That was amazing, dude!" He praised.

"What was...?"

"You arguing against haruto."

"Yeah I don't get what's the problem. Why is it such a big achievement?"

"You might not know, but haruto is the son of the CEO of the main funding company of this school."

Doyoung's jaw dropped. Not because he was intimidated. He wasn't. But because he had no idea.

"My name is Jaehyuk, by the way." Jaehyuk introduced. "I'm the class president so you can talk to me anytime you have any problems."

"Thank you!"

Before they could continue their conversation, haruto returned to his seat.

"You know you could just skip if you don't pay attention anyway." Doyoung said.

"Ms. Son, this boy is disturbing me."

"Kim doyoung, focus!" The literature teacher yelled from the front of the classroom.

Doyoung looked at haruto with a dirty look, who was now smirking.

Doyoung pulled his table apart from haruto's.

"Well, I won't disturb you anymore. Keep this distance."

But to doyoung's surprise, haruto pulled him closer.

"I don't want to. It's amusing to see you mad."

Doyoung was taken aback at the proximity. He cleared his throat and looked straight ahead, when he felt his face heat up.

Haruto, on the other hand, was having the time of his life, teasing doyoung.

"Yep now I know who to stay away from." Doyoung thought.

Doyoung was known to be reserved and pretty laid back, so it was odd that some guy he just met could piss him off that much.

At the end of the day they had PE, which, for doyoung, was an unfortunate period. Because he was stuck in the same team as haruto for dodgeball.

"If you were on the opposite team, I would have made sure to aim at you each time." Haruto said.

"As if you'd get me out that easily. Watch and learn."

And doyoung was, indeed, really good.

However, the team he was in wasn't. He and haruto were the only ones who remained from his team, while the opposing one still had four players left.

Haruto was good too. He was able to catch the ball several times and he made the opposing team come down to two players.

"You aren't as bad as I thought." Doyoung said.

"Of course not. In fact I'm better than you."

They maintained a competitive eye contact before throwing the ball at the opponents together.

Unfortunately doyoung missed. But he didn't care. Because the opponents aimed at haruto, and he was glad that he would be finally out.

But he thought wrong. The moment the ball came into their territory, haruto pulled doyoung in front of him as if he was a shield. And with that, doyoung was out and haruto was the only player remaining in their team.

"What was that for?!" Doyoung yelled.

"To show you that I'm better than you."

"Yeah, you are. Better at playing dirty than me!"

Haruto walked away, waving his hand as if to say "keep talking. I'm leaving."

Doyoung took the nearest ball and threw it aggressively on the ground.

Haruto was the first person to make him this annoyed.
