We arrived at an airport after hours and hours on a plane and multiple layovers.  My poor mom, who had never flown on a plane before, looked like hell. My dad was a little more used to the wear and tear, but still looked awful.

I, on the other hand, was perfectly fine, thanks to my quirk and the long charge of my headphones.

I had written multiple chapters of a book I was in the process of, I'd drawn two different landscapes in my sketchbook, and I'd made friends with one of the flight attendants.

Getting off the plane, my mother turned to me and groaned. "How did you manage to go through the entire day, cramped in the seat and not sleeping, and still look as bright eyed as you do, Subwoofer?" She asked. I just shook my head.

"It's dad's quirk," I said simply, stretching my arms out with a loud yawn and getting a dirty glance from the person sitting behind me.

"You are extremely lucky," my dad said. Even though I got that part of my quirk from my dad, it was much stronger for me than it was for him.

The three of us made our way to the baggage claim, got our suitcases, and then left to meet my aunt outside one of the main doors. She had agreed to pick us up from the airport to take us to her place until we were ready to move into our new house.

We got in and my mom sat in front with my dad and I in the back.

"I'm sorry that Hizashi didn't come out to greet you, he's with one of his friends from school and they got caught up at the train station. I didn't tell him you'd be here tonight because I wanted to surprise him," my aunt said. I smiled and fixed my headphones on my head as I answered.

"Oh that's okay, I'll just have to pick on him later," I said.

"Now, Y/n, we're only staying there for just a couple nights while the movers get us settled in and.. Honey?"

  I looked up. "Yea?"

Mom smiled when she knew I was listening, "You're gonna have to set up your room on your own, but if you like you can ask Hizashi to help you."

I nodded and looked down at my phone. There were few notifications, but that's ok.

My aunt's house was a little small, covered in records, and a little messy. I hadn't been there since my visit to Japan when I was only about five years old. The furniture had been moved around but it was all the same.

"D/n, can you help Y/n move their stuff into their new room? I'd like to catch up with my sister," My mom requested. Dad nodded and hustled back outside to get my stuff out of the car. He carried one of the three boxes I packed to come with me before we moved to the new house.

"Where's his room? Dad asked. My aunt gave him directions as I went outside to get the other boxes.

Hizashi's room was exactly what you'd expect Hizashi's room to look like. He had action posters, hero figures, and surprisingly, like fifteen different boy band posters up on his wall. There was a record player and a stack of vinyl records. I smiled, dropped my box next to the one that my dad had brought up, and walked over to read the covers.

Wow, System of a Down, Avatar, Slipknot, and... Twenty one Pilots? That, along with a few other bands I knew, made for an interesting playlist that anyone would expect from my cousin.

"Y/n! Come downstairs!" My aunt yelled. I put the record down and went downstairs. Mainly because I could already smell food.

I sat down and we said a quick blessing over the food. Immediately I began shoveling food into my mouth, almost straight from the serving plate. When my mother chided me, I simply responded by momentarily pausing to stare at her before resuming my eating.

Halfway through the meal, the front door walked in. I turned around to face the hallway as my cousin walked in.

"Y/n!!!" Hizashi exclaimed, grinning. I smiled back and held out my fist. He bumped it and sat down.

The rest of the meal went pretty smoothly. Hizashi knew that we were moving to his town, but he didn't know that I was already there. He asked me a few questions, and I was excited to see that he was practically buzzing.

Dinner didn't last much longer, and to my dismay I was volunteered to help Hizashi do the dishes so the "AduLtS" could get some rest. The two of us made quick work of the chore and headed upstairs to partially unpack my clothes. Once that was done we took turns in the bathroom changing into pajamas and brushing our teeth.

"So where are you gonna be going to school?" Hizashi asked. I smiled and looked at him.

Digging through my bag quickly, I pulled out the acceptance letter that I had received from UA. There was a quick moment before I handed it to Hizashi.

"No way, yo!" Hizashi jumped off of his bed ecstatically. His smile was contagious and within a few moments I was just as excited as the moment I opened the letter.

"Wait, bro what class are you gonna be in?"

  I shrugged. "I dunno yet."

Hizashi looked up. "But you're in the hero course, right?" I nodded.

"Well, if we're lucky you'll be in my class! You can get to meet all my friends!"

The conversation went on from there to Hizashi telling me every single detail about every person in his class. He even went as far as to tell me about his teacher.

"Well, I, for one, am rather excited to get to meet them all."

Eventually, Hizashi tired of rambling incessantly, and decided he was going to go to sleep. I bid him goodnight and stayed up on my phone and listening to music.

Around four in the morning, Hizashi threw a pillow at my face. "Your music sucks."

I rolled my eyes. "We listen to a lot of the same music, dipshit."

  "Well that was rude."

I snickered, and Hizashi suddenly sat up.

"Wait, tomorrow's a Saturday, do you wanna go shopping with me and my friends? I'm sure they wouldn't mind."

I looked at him. "Don't you mean today's a Saturday?" 'Zashi rolled his eyes.

"Do you want to go shopping or not? I just got my allowance and I want to blow it-"

  "Kinky-"

"-Shut up. I just got my allowance and I'll buy you coffee if you go."

  I shrugged. "Sure, why not?"

Hizashi pumped his fist. "Hell yeah! And hey, while we're out, we can get your uniforms for school!"

I smiled and rolled over to face away from my cousin. "Go back to sleep."
