LESSON 1: APPS USED

If you are a complete beginner and is just planning or starting to edit, I highly recommend these apps:

» Canva
» Over
» PicsArt

These are the apps I think will be the easiest to use especially for beginners. Yes, there are some features that are needed to be accessed and that is through payments. Like money. 😐 BUT! There's a but. You can still create a lot of things with the free features given.

I will provide tutorials on each app and on how to use them, but for now let us talk about the "why". Why are these apps good and why should you use these apps?

Let us start with Canva. This was the app/website that got me interested in editing. I've been using this for years and I guarantee you, it is worth it. You can add text, pictures, png pictures that comes with the app, and even gifs! As in madali lang sobra. If you are only into text-slap type of book covers or graphics in general, then this is perfect for you. You can add glow, shadows, and effects to the text and marami pang iba. I will teach you all of those details in the Canva tutorial.

Up next is Over. This is a bit similar to Canva, though mas marami lang ang offered features ng Canva. This is also good but if you find Canva complicated to use then, this might be a little more simpler. Yun nga lang ulit, mas konti features niya. It has free fonts and you can add pictures and so far yun lang but, overall it's good.

Lastly is PicsArt. This is more in the advanced side of editing considering na mas marami buttons and some of it might be hard and confusing for a beginner to start with, but I thought this should be added in the apps for beginners since there are some features naman na I think with a little practice, you can master and eventually get used to it. It has effects on almost everything. Filters, overlays, stickers, fonts, effects on fonts, illustration and etc. There are literally a lot of things you can learn from this app so this will be worth it too.

So those are the apps that personally, would be good to start with if you're just a beginner.

Pano naman kaya if you've already started editing. You might be asking if you're using the right apps or kung tama ba itong gamitin or ano? There is completely nothing wrong sa kung ano man yung ginagamit mo currently, BUT I would suggest it if you switch off to a new editing app.

Marami akong kilala na gumagamit ng Pixellab and honestly, I think it's a decent app with good features. Pero for you to enhance your skills, you need to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.

These are the apps I recommend:

» ibisPaintX
» PicsArt

This is optional but, once you've mastered these apps, I suggest na mag try ka sa photoshop. Pero yun nga lang, you need to purchase it and of course you need to have the equipment such as a laptop or pc and etc. But ibisPaintX and PicsArt could be the alternative to photoshop so it's okay.

Now let us talk about these two apps. Bakit? Bakit eto and ano meron?

Like I've said earlier, these are like the alternative to photoshop. So when I say alternative, maraming similar features and mas pinadali lang since these are apps.

Both have blending modes, erasing and drawing, effects, and honestly sobrang dami pa. Too many to mention.

I will also provide a tutorial about the basics on each app and the basic techniques.

This is the end of lesson one. Thank you for reading. ❣️
