Just a normal day on a normal apartment, a couple named Gideon and Emily lived together.

While Emily was using her phone, saw a video on TikTok where as "Pretend to sleep and say another man's name and get your partner's reaction" was trending.

She decided to do the trend on Gideon, knowing the fact that Gideon was very sensitive when it involves their relationship, she wanted to do it anyways.

*Emily pretends to sleep on the sofa*

*Gideon walks by to get something at the kitchen*

Emily said "Stop it Leo!"

as Gideon was about to continue walking to the kitchen he thought "Who is LEO?!", "Is Emily cheating on me?", "Should I ask?". As he did not want to ask he went to the bathroom and locked himself in with the thoughts: "Is Emily cheating on me?", "Am i worthless now?", "Since when did the both of them see each other?", etc.

The living room was super quiet, so Emily decided to stop the act and asked where Gideon was. After a few minutes she knew he was in the bathroom. She thought he was taking a dump, BUT HE WASN'T! HE WAS OVERTHINKING, HE WAS DEPRESSED, to the point he started giving himself scars by scratching his own body, Blood soon dripped and he still stood silent while facing to the mirror with a confused face, Crying? Angry? Happy? He doesn't know what he should do. without knowing he started to write down words on the toilet papers saying "I'm sorry that you're not contented with me alone", "I'm sorry for the things I couldn't give you", "Im sorry... etc".

An hour has passed by...

Emily craved for a snack so she wanted to go to the convenience store to buy some. she got dressed and noticed Gideon hasn't gotten out of the toilet yet.

Emily said "Hey babe? your not done yet? are you sleeping in there? well anyways I'm hungry so I'm off to the convenience store to buy some snack, be back in a bit love you"

as she leaves the room Gideon's thought has increased, "buy snack my ass, you're going to meet him right now aren't you!? you say you love me?! Lies! LIES! LIES!!!", "Should I go and tail her?!". He was still confused so he decided not to. spending more time inside the bathroom

2 hours passed

Emily finally returned home, she noticed how quiet it was. she proceeded to knock on the bathroom and check up on Gideon if he was still in there but there was no response, looking back she saw his shoes still inside so he must be somewhere inside the house.

she searched everywhere but couldn't find him, the only option left was the bathroom. she quickly took the spare key and opened the bathroom, and what she saw was very SHOCKING!!!

Gideon was already lying at the floor with so much blood and scars all over his body, and to add to that there were so much notes he left about apologizing. Emily did not know what to do so she called an ambulance, about 5 minutes the rescue team has arrived and took Gideon to the hospital. While Gideon was taken there, Emily was taken in for questions on what happened.

Gideon was rushed to be taken as an emergency patient, he was taken to the emergency room for further check-ups. Doctors and Nurses were all shocked as how the patient got so many scars on his body. Arms, Legs, Foot, Hands, literally not one body part is UNDAMAGED, he was taken in for further surgery because the blood wouldn't stop. Emily on the other hand...

Emily - IS HE GOING TO BE OKAY?! PLEASE TELL ME IS HE GONNA BE OKAY?! DOC??? DOC!!??

Doctor - Dont worry Ma'am we are all trying our best to save the patient please wait, I'll give you a short report later on whats the outcome, please prepare yourself and don't panic because we professionals are here, you need not to worry and let us handle this, please relax and sit down.

Emily was so SHOCKED she Burst into tears with the thought of "HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!", "WAS IT BECAUSE OF ME??", "IS THIS ALL MY FAULT?!", "GIDEON!!!! PLEASE BE SAFE!!! I BEG OF YOU DON'T LEAVE ME".

3 hours has passed...

*Doctor came out of the room*

Emily - DOC! HOW IS HE?! IS HE OKAY???

Doctor - Ma'am please calm down, I want to ask you first what is your relationship with the patient? and what really happened, I myself am curious to know how he got that much wound. we discovered it was done by himself..

Emily - He is my Boyfriend... I... I Don't know Doc... I just went to the store to buy snacks and when I got home, I found him inside the bathroom with the wounds already.

Doctor - Did you happen to know of some events that happened recently? like what if you said something? or if his friends are subjects to this matter?

Emily froze and remembered only one thing what happened before he locked himself up.. Recalling the prank she settled for Gideon.. as she was remembering it she burst out tears again and said..

Emily - do... doc.... I didn't know this would be the outcome... I just followed a trend on social media where you say a random name while pretending to sleep to get your partner's reaction... I didn't mean for this to happen... I LOVE HIM SO MUCH DOC, THIS IS ALL MY FAULT, I KNOW THIS MIGHT SEEM SELFISH BUT PLEASE SAVE HIM DOC!!!

Doctor - I understand ma'am please sit down and wait for further reports I'll give you ASAP.

Emily continued crying for the next hour while waiting for the report of Gideon. Finally the doctor showed up and said:

Doctor - Ma'am I have good news and bad news to give you...

Emily - Doc? Good? and BAD?! Tell me the good news First PLEASE!! IS HE OKAY???

Doctor - yes the patient is in stable condition and is okay, that is the good news. as for the bad news-

Emily - Wait doc... let me prepare myself, I might not be able to handle this.... *INHALES*....*EXHALES*.. Alright doc I'm ready, Tell me the bad news.

Doctor - I hate to break it to you but the bad news is... He loss his memories..

Emily was so shocked her eyes widened and her jaw dropped while tears flowing out again once more..

Doctor - if you want to meet him now please prepare yourself ma'am

Emily - yes doc... wait a minute please

as Emily sucks up her emotion of sadness she went and visited Gideon... But the Gideon she once knew was no more, he couldn't even figure out who he is or what his name was.

*opens the door*

Emily saw him on the bed and rush towards him hugging him and apologizing. Gideon was confused he said

Gideon - Ummm, excuse me ma'am but who are you?? I can't seem to remember.

Emily was broken hearted, she knew he loss his memories but it still pains her that he doesn't remember her anymore.

Emily - its me Emily, your one and only girlfriend, I love you so much please let me be with you even if we have to start anew.
