"This is useless!!" Dawson throws his arms in the air and i tense up slightly.
"There must be something we're missing." Vought announces, looking over the files again.
"He's always one step ahead of us." Dawson hits his hand slightly on the table and i flinch again and squeeze my eyes shut scared of the loudness. Normally i manage to keep calm and collected, but the fight i had with my girlfriend last night was bigger than ever before.
"Y/N let's go get some coffees for everyone." Erin suggests.
"okay." i stand up instantly
"are you okay bby?" she asks me softly once we get out of the precinct.
"yep, im fine" i say avoiding looking at her.
"im you're best friend, y/n. you can tell me anything." she assures me looking down at me.
"i wish i could" i whisper.
"talk to me honey." she stops me from walking and holds my hands in hers.
"drop it please, erin." i whisper while a tear escapes my eye.
She wipes my tear away from under my eye and i flinch. "what's going on hm" she asks gently holding you around your waist.
"it's nothing, im just overreacting it's fine erin." i tell her.
"is it your girlfriend?, has she hit you y/n?" she asks softly.
"no" i lie avoiding her gaze. and her face drops.
"y/n i have known you most of my life, i know when you're lying to me bby." she rubs your waist comfortingly.
"it was my fault! it's always my fault erin." i tell her crying while covering my face with both hands.
"baby girl, it's not your fault, there is absolutely no excusing what she has done to you honey! do not allow her to let you feel like it's at all your fault." she brings you into her warm and safe embrace and you cry into her chest.
"im scared erin" i mumble into her chest.
"i know baby, you are going to come and live with me and we are going to sort this out, i love you y/n. im not going to stand back and let her hit you." she tells you as you're still in her arms.
"you love me?" you ask her smiling while blushing into her chest.
"i love you"
"i love you too erin." i tell her.
"now we are going to go to your place and get all your things and you will be living at mine, okay baby" she kisses me gently on my lips.
"she will never hurt your body again, i promise you." she tells me kissing my temple.
"thank you erin, i love you", you say wrapping your arms around her neck and standing on your tip toes, while kissing her gently on the lips.
