After the competition me and Alana decided to go shopping for new bathing suits while everyone else went adventuring, as they like to call it. "What about this one?" I picked up a one piece that was dark blue. I knew Alana would get a kick out of it. " Yeah for when you are like 70." I laughed and put in back on the hanger. " How about this one? " Alana picked up a small,very skimpy, two piece." One wipe-out in this thing and you'll be showing a lot more than your awesome skills, plus it looks like an eye patch! " Alana held it to her eye and made a pirate noise. Melina walked up to us with her board in her hand. " Hey Hamilton, when I am in the water training I'll be thinking of you," I heard Alana mumble something about her being creepy. I am on the same page as you are Alana." I think you should be focusing on your training, you seem like you could need it." I answered back to Melina. I mentally high-fived myself and said 'good job Bethany, that point goes to you' . She quickly walked off without another word. I am seriously getting tired of talking to her.

Me and Alana decided to go our separate ways so she could go shopping and so that I can go catch up with Liam. Its been at least 7-8 months sense he has been home. Of course he come's back everyone once and a while, but that's just not enough for my liking. I walked back to the van and waited about 10 minutes before they finally showed up. Liam was the first to walk, no more like run, up to hug me. I tried to tell him that I was still wet but he wouldn't have it. Next was Zayn, then Louis, then Harry. Niall was the last one to come up and hug me. He hugged me longer than any other boy,fine by me,. Liam 'coughing' was what split us apart. Liam sent Niall his famous evil glare then turned to me." Okay let's get back to the house we have a lot of catching up to do." Liam said turning his eyes back to Niall. Everyone got in the van and put their seat belts on. Liam was in the passenger seat staring at me and Niall. Niall was to my right with Zayn on my left. Harry and Louis were in the back seats with the surfboards. I started to doze off so Niall patted his shoulder signaling me to lay my head down. So I did. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit his shoulder.

*Niall* (let's see how this goes)

As soon as her head hit my shoulder I knew she was asleep. I know Liam gave us the whole ' No dating my sister speech ' but I don't think I can take it any more. I have lov-liked this girl for as long as I can remember. She is just so driven to make it as a pro surfer. She's bubbly, kind, consederate, and just in general a beautiful girl. Inside and out. That's why I want to marry her! No I am just kidding!! But I do want to date her. I am thinking about asking her tomorrow, Halloween Day. That is if Liam will let me. He and lads know that I like her as more than a friend. I will talk to him tonight about asking her. I hope he says yes.

I could feel somebody carrying me out of the car. Telling by the size of his biceps I knew it was Niall. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Niall. He is my favorite besides my brother though. It feels so good to have Liam back. Thinking about how much time he had here I woke up, scaring the waffles out Niall, and went to see how long he was going to be here for. " Hey...umm..Liam..how long are you..umm going to be here..for?" I asked choking and skipping over words fearing the possible answer. As soon as I said that Liam's face fell a little bit. Liam looked up at me finally meeting my gaze and whispered, " One week". That was the answer I didn't want to hear. You think I would be used to it by now, but I'm not. I let a single tear slide down my cheek as I slowly sat down on the couch. Everyone's eyes were either on me or Liam. I saw Niall awkwardly standing beside Liam. I tried to hold back a sob that was trying to leave my lips, but I failed horribly. I stood up from the couch, ran to my room grabbed my board and left the house. I could hear everyone screaming behind me but if they really cared about me they would leave me be. They should know that when I am sad, angry, or in a strange mood they should just let me surf it off. Surfing isn't just another sport or pass time, for me its life. I wake up at 6 am everyday to surf and I don't leave the water until it's time for dinner. When I left it was 5:30. I saw Alana was already at the beach with Keioki( KEY-OH-KEY).  I wiped the remaining tears away and ran into the water. "What are you guys doing here?"  I asked Alana & Keioki as I paddled out to them. "We're going night surfing, duh!" Keioki told me." I didn't know skaters could surf?" I smiled my sarcastic smile at him. Keioki grabbed at his chest and feigned hurt. " I have many talents that you don't know about!". " Like what wiping out?"." Whatever Hamilton" Keioki is one of my bestest friends. He helps me out when Liam leaves.

* A couple hours later *

" Hey Bethany it's almost midnight" Alana said paddling up to me, Keioki not far behind her. "What happens at midnight?" I asked. What? This is my first time night surfing. A loud whistle and then a bang came from above us and I saw the lights of the fireworks go off. Wow this is amazayn (see what I did there?). Our fun was ruined by a loud car horn coming from the parking lot." Well this was fun guys but I must leave. You have my permission to miss me now" I giggled to Keioki and Alana, Alana rolled her eyes with a small laugh while Keioki started laughing. I said one last bye paddled to shore, grabbed my towel and got in the car. " You better be lucky I came for you instead of your parents " I gave him a strange look and turned my head looking out the window. " Thanks, ya'll should know by now that I surf when I am upset." I turned to look at him for a second before turning back around. The rest of the car ride was silent. But not an awkward silence. I got out of the car and went into the house straight to my room not talking to anyone of the boys. After about 5 minutes I went out to say thank you. The boys were sitting on the couch talking about...me? I stayed hidden so they couldn't see me. " Liam you know I like your sister, so I was wondering if tomorrow I could ask her out..like on a date." Whoah, Niall likes me? " Fine but you have to do it after she comes back from surfing tomorrow with Alana, oh and don't forget break her heart and I will have to hurt you Horan" Liam said in full seriousness. I walked back down the hall a little so when I walked up it won't look like  I was eavesdropping. I then proceeded to walk back into the living room. All eyes were on me as I walked up to Zayn, my driver, and hugged him whispering a 'thank you' in his ear. When I turned the corner I saw Niall give Zayn the ultimate death stare. I have a long day tomorrow so I am going to sleep.

Niall: *walks into his room* Yay Liam said yes!! WAHOO!!

ME: *hiding in his closet* Hey Niall!!

Niall: AHHHH!!! Who are you?

Me: Oh don't mind that. So I heard you are cheating on me! Is it true?!

Niall: Two things. ONE.We were never going out in the first place. And, TWO. Who are you I am calling the police.

Me: *rips of his shirt, takes picture, fangirls, and hauls butt* I LOVE YOU NIALL!!
