"What did I forget?" I asked, now worried.

"You didn't forget anything, my love," he said, turning to me.

"Then why is this day so incredibly important?" I asked, smiling.

"I wanted to do something ever since I fell in love with you."

"That can be very many things, you're going to have to be less blunt."

"I will be in just a moment, my dear," he said. "But first, I didn't get to kiss you as you came in today, so let me do that."

I rolled my eyes and shook my head, amused. "Okay, darling."

He gave me a soft, long, passionate and touching kiss. This type was always one of my favourites because it always left me weak in the knees and wanting more. Plus, it really told me that Kuzco still loved me after all this time. Kuzco pulled away.

"Does that suffice, my darling?" I asked, my arms resting loosely around his neck.

"I will always want one more."

"Good answer," I said, smirking.

"Now," he said and put one knee on the ground. Wait..... "(Y/n). I love you. I always have, and always will. I know that I don't deserve you, but if you would let me, I want to keep proving to you that I am worthy of your heart, and hand, for the rest of my days. So, will you do me the honour of marrying me?" he finished. Kuzco reached into his pocket and took out a small black box. Inside was a gorgeous diamond ring. I think that I stopped breathing.

"Yes," I said, nodding. I was able to take a deep breath and keep my composure. "Yes. I will marry you."

Kuzco smiled and stood back up, taking the ring and sliding it on to my left ring finger. My father's ring now on my right ring finger.

"General, I'm pleased to pronounce that you are now engaged. You better tell the Emperor before he finds out himself!" Kuzco says, teasing me and making a joke. I laughed and smiled at him.
"My guess is that both my Uncle and Aunt knew?"

"Yes."

"When do you think we should tell them that I said yes?"

"Please, I knew you would say yes....why wouldn't they already know?"

"Good poi-"

"Yeah!!" They were, of course, eavesdropping. Ha, family.

~~Time Skip~~

I really enjoy married life. Kuzco and I have been married for two years now and the honeymoon phase hasn't worn off. With Kuzco, I don't think it ever will. Right now, we are at Kuzco's summer resort and just enjoying each other's company, cuddled up onto the couch in the shade.

I could tell Kuzco was thinking about something. To be fair, so was I, but I could tell when Kuzco was really concentrating, and he couldn't tell when I was really thinking hard. I just focus almost all of the time. Kuzco would always finger either one of my tattoos. Tracing them as he focused.

"What are you thinking about, my darling?" I asked.

"You."

"What about me?"

"How amazing you are."

"Well, that's an interesting topic. Speaking of topics, I need to tell you something."

"Okay," he answered. I sat up and turned to him. "You can tell me anything, my dear."

"I'm pregnant." Kuzco didn't say anything, he just stared. Well, that's not helpful.

"Kuzco."

"Kuzco." Still no answer, he was practically frozen in time.

"Please speak."

"It's mine right?" he asks, still staring.

"No, it's Misty the Llama's. Yes, it's yours!!"

"I'm going to be a father?"

"Yes," I said, nodding.

"I'm going to be a father!" he said, enthusiastically. He stood up and started bouncing up and down. He was excited. I stood up with him. "Ohhhhh, I can't believe it! Oh my gosh!" he exclaimed, hugging me. He let me go, his eyes full of excitement.

"I love you! Oh, this kid is going to be spoiled, but not spoiled rotten. Not making that mistake. He or she will have the finest teachers, and we get to decorate a new room! This is so exciting! We are going to be wonderful parents!" he said, still bouncing. He kissed me and then bent down to kiss my stomach. "I already love them. And I love you, (Y/n), so much."

And I'm so blessed that he did. I gave birth to a beautiful daughter, and she had Kuzco wrapped around her tiny pinky finger, immediately. Pacha and Chicha enjoyed seeing us starting a family, and we always visited each other. Three years later, I gave birth to twin boys. With our family complete, Kuzco and I enjoyed our life together, filled with love.

....And the occasional Peruvian Feather Grass joke here and there.
