Chapter 11~

"Save ourselves! SOS."

[Y/n] deadpans. That's terrible- Hairo nervously sweatdropped,

"Yeah, that's the plan, but-"
"If it's not that, then 'someone, over here, save me!"

[Y/n] sighs and shakes their head. Kaido began to laugh before he looked up at Nendou,

"Each of your guesses were dumber than the last one."

Nendou looked at Kaido,

"Alright then, do you know what it stands for smarty pants?"

Kaido smirks,

"Of course I do. Obviously it means scorching oblivious smackdown."

Everyone looked at Kaido as if he were crazy. He can't be serious- Kaido nervously laughed,

"I'm joking. It stands for slow, orderly, and silent, right?"

Hairo nodded,

"Yup, you got it. Now everyone, just remember those simple rules and we'll ace this drill!"

[Y/n] looks around the classroom. Shouldn't a teacher be helping us with this..? The alarm suddenly went off.

"The first floor science lab is on fire, please evacuate."

A few people stood up and started to conversate with one another. [Y/n] sighs. Wow, what a good way to start a drill.

Hairo grabbed his safety hood and started telling the class what to do. [Y/n] grabbed their bag and pull out their safety hood as instructed.

"Where's my hood?"
"Is this it?"
"Do we put this on first?"
"Crap, I'm pretty sure I left my hood at home."

Hairo began to lecture the guy who left his hood about how if this were a real fire, he'd be dead. [Y/n] sweat drops.

We'd all be dead if it takes us this long to put on our hoods and get out of the classroom.

"Oh no, I can't seem to find my safety hoodie!"
"Oh come on, not you too!"

A bunch of random guys in the class began to surround Teruhashi, offering her their hoods. [Y/n] sighs and start to put on their hood.

What is this small hood going to do anyways? It's not like it's covering our whole body...

"Okay, let's move out!"

Everyone stood in the hall and stood in line.

"Hold on, I forgot my phone."
"Stop Takahashi! Out of line is too dangerous, stay in place!"

[Y/n] sighed in annoyance. If this was a real fire and I left my phone in the classroom, you bet your ass I'm going back to get it. That phone is worth more than my life.

"Stop it guys!"

Everyone looks up at Kaido as he continued.

"Obviously it's not the time for stupid fuss."

[Y/n] deadpans. They're trying way too hard with these S.O.S. abbreviations...

"Okay class, we're almost out."

Hairo instructed as he led the class. Everyone was walking when Hairo suddenly screamed, causing everyone to stop.

"STOP EVERYONE! OUR PATH LEADNG OUT SHUT BEFORE US!"
"Seriously?"
"Oh, come on!"
"Screw it, we're dead."

Kaido started panicking,

"What now!? We're completely trapped!"

Terusahi looked hopelessly at the closed pathway,

"I guess someone closed it by mistake.."

[Y/n] shakes their head while mumbling,

"Isn't this the path with the science room..?"
"Yup."

[Y/n] looks over at Saiki,

"And they said that the science room is on fire, right?"

Saiki nodded,

"Finally, someone who paid attention."

[Y/n] sighs for the nth time that day,

"Do you think he'll realize?"
"Probably not."
"Should we tell him?"
"...Nope."
"Stay calm, obviously there's a solution to getting outside!"

[Y/n] turns their attention back to Hairo.

"Yes, that's it! I understand why they locked us in!"

Because the hallway would literally be in flames right now if this were real?

"They're testing our physical strength! Yeah, that's the only explanation! We don't have to send a SOS if we can overcome the obstacle ourselves! Which means if we want to get out, we'll have to break down that shutter!"

[Y/n] shakes their head in disappointment. This is a fire drill, not a movie you idiot.

"ALRIGHT, LET'S BREAK IT DOWN BOYS!"

Saiki and [Y/n] stood there while watching everyone attempt to break down the shutter. [Y/n] sighs,

"In a real fire, they'd be the first to die, wouldn't they?"
"Yup."

Saiki and [Y/n] stood in the distance as they watched part of the class get lectured by the gym teacher for breaking the shutter. They're hopeless.

"As punishment, you're all getting buzzcuts!"
