two - the vanguard action squad

Y/N's POV
The students from UA High School had a training camp in the woods, where myself, Dabi and the Vanguard Action Squad were sent to terrorise the students and capture the one named Katsuki Bakugo.

Unlike Dabi, who was on no government records, I had to hide my identity behind a costume- I was thought of to be dead, but I didn't have a patchwork face that made me almost unidentifiable, if the wrong person were to come across me, they'd know who I was.

I wore a skin-tight, suit that was completely fire proof. The top half was yellow and stopped at my wrists, whilst also being cut out at the back for my wings, whilst the bottom half was black, and my belt in the middle held space and pockets for me to carry anything if need be.

When on any mission, I wore black face paint over my eyes and the bridge of my nose, and nobody has ever recognised me as Y/N L/N.

As we stood overlooking the forest where the kids were training, Dabi, who was leading this mission spoke out to all of us, "the League of Villains made a mistake going after them with a bunch of random thugs at the USJ, better to use a small group of elites. The first thing we have to do is take away their sense of peace, and show them that their lives rest in our hands."

There was a list of kids that were priority to kill, but our main focus was capturing Bakugo and bringing him back to Shigiraki.

I had trained hard with my quirk when I was training under the Hero Public Safety Commission, and I could now consciously choose whether my scratches injected venom that would kill the victim, or only knock them out.

As everyone scattered to do their part, I flew above the forest, avoiding Dabi's flames and Mustard's poisonous gas.

It was hard to see what was going on past the trees and smoke, so I flew back over to the camp, in hope of finding the boy. But, I was pretty sure that what I found was Dabi's clone battling Eraser Head.

Crap. I can't let him notice me. 

I flew as fast as I could back into the forest where I found Moonfish battling someone. I hovered above and watched intently when I noticed it was the boy I was looking for.

There was another person down there, too, carrying someone who was injured. I couldn't make out who it might've been, through.

Moonfish was attacking again and again, being constantly blocked by walls of ice.

Wait... that could be...

He didn't even look like he was trying to capture the kid, he was trying to kill him.

It's fine, if he does get to him, I'll get the kid out of there before he gets bloodied up too badly.

I hovered further down and watched from the top of one of the trees; Moonfish clearly wasn't getting anywhere, whoever was producing the ice was blocking all of his attacks. I wasn't going to intervene unless Moonfish failed, because alerting them of my presence could compromise my safety.

Suddenly, the ground began to rumble and trees begun to fall as a massive shadow monster came chasing through the forest.

From in front of him, I heard a voice scream, "Bakugo! Todoroki! Give us some light!"

Todoroki? So I was right, the one producing ice was Dabi's little brother.

I jumped up out of the tree and flew a little higher, avoiding shadowy monster which I believed to be Dark Shadow, a quirk of one of the students.

Dark Shadow immediately took out Moonfish like he was nothing, before being reduced back to his usual size by Bakugo and Shoto's fire.

Well, it looks like it's my turn.
