Humans believe they stand on top.
That when they came along the animals' authority began to drop.
But this is not completely true,
Because animals will always have power too.
It is sad to think that they were here before us,
But when we took over they hardly made a fuss.
Humans are greedy and take it all with very little to give.
Animals just want the privilege to be graceful and live.
Humans kill each other without a chance to say goodbye.
Animals are struggling just to keep their numbers high.
Humans turned the world upside down so they could stand on top
And there wasn't anything the animals could do to make it stop.
When together, it's amazing what humans and animals can do,
Because don't forget, humans are animals too.
