I'm Elizabeth Goyal, sister to Gregory Goyle and I'm a slytherin. This is the story about how my 5th year at hogwarts got let's just say, complicated.
It all started January 14th, I was sat in my dorm which I shared with my two girl best friends pansy and Lucy. We where all sat in there helping each other get ready for our first day back at school.
"do we have to go, can't we just stay here all day?"
I turned around from my draws and saw pansy flop onto her bed.
"I don't want to ether but we get to know where we are sat and hey you never know, you may be sitting next to Malfoy."
I said in a teasing way. Pansy had a massive thing for malfoy ever since we started hogwarts. She sat up and stuck up her middle finger at me. I walked over to lucy.
" hey can I borrow your mascara? "
" what's wrong with yours?"
She held up her mascara and waved it around.
"It ran out."
I grabbed it from her and walked over to my mirror and began applying it. I have to say I did look pretty good in my slytherin uniform, my makeup and my hair which I had curled the night before. We where all ready as we stood in the middle of our dorm, we looked at each other and smiled. We all pulled our skirts up a little then walked out our dorm.
In the common room my brother and his friends where all sat on the sofa. It was nice as my guy best friend Joel was also my brothers best friend.
"Greggors."
I said walking past my brother and messing up his hair, he hated being called that so now I call him that just to piss him of.
"lizzy, your skirt."
I hated being called lizzy, I didn't minde elz but I hated lizzy.
"you like it? "
I said twurling around.
"pull it down."
"no."
Me and the girls walked out of the common room and made our way to the Great Hall for breakfast. We sat down in our usual seats and a couple minutes later the boys came in, normally Joel sat next to me but for some reason instead of Joel, malfoy was there.
"ugh um that's Joel seat."
I said picking up a piece of toast and placing it on my plate.
"lizzy calm down he said I could sit here."
He rubbed my back.
"don't touch me, and why would he let you sit here."
I still wasn't looking at him when I speaking to him.
"he wants to sit next to parkinson."
Malfoy normally sat next to pansy, Joel has a massive crush on her so I guess he's finally trying to make a move. I ignored malfoy for the rest of breakfast and was buissy talking to pansy and Lucy instead.
When we where done with breakfast we started to make our way to Potions, I was walking backwards talking to pansy and Lucy. They stopped talking and just smiled.
"wha-"
I bumped into something, I turned around and saw a very hanso- I mean good looking hufflepuff boy stood in front of me.
"hey."
I said picking up my wand that fell to the cold stone floor.
"I'm so Sorry are you okay?"
He said pulling me up from picking up my wand.
"I'm fine."
I said tucking my wand into my robe.
"I'm cedric diggory by the way."
He held out his hand as if for me to shake it.
"that's nice."
I walked off as I noticed that pansy and Lucy where stood at the over side of the hallway. I caught up to them.
"Diggory hey? "
Lucy said nudging me.
"he seams like a jerk."
We entered the Potions class room and the whole class was stood to one side of the room.
"Miss Goyal, Pritchard and Parkinson, your late."
"we know."
Pansy said as we joined the rest of the class. We often answered back to Snape as he never really told us of as he was our head of house.
"As I was saying I will now partner you up, do not switch partners as I will be handing out detentions to who ever switches seats with out my permission."
I looked around at the other students and realised that my brother and his friends where in the class to. How did they get here before us, I thought we left before them? Must of been when I bumped in to diggory. Oh no please say they didn't see that, they won't stop teasing me for weeks.
"Miss Parkinson with Mr weasly."
I nudged her and snickered. She just glared at me taking her seat next to the ginger bread man.
"Miss Goyal with Mr Malfoy."
Ugh really? I took my seat and he sat next to me.
"Lizzy, how was your run in with diggory."
"shut it malfoy."
I looked over at Lucy who just gave me a innocent smile, god I hope she sits with that potter, she hates him.
"Miss Pritchard with Mr Rowlinson."
What?! That's so unfair she gets to sit with Joel whilst I'm stuck here with malfoy. She skipped over to her table and sat with Joel.
My brother was sat with potter, me and Malfoy laughed at this as we knew how much he hated potter. Snape sat the rest of the class before going on about some potion, can't remember what it's called as I wasn't paying attention.
