Well things change I said
I felt my face begin to fall from its perky state and she took that as her cue to say how stupid he was but honestly the last thing I wanted to hear bout was that dipshit. It was time for the process to begin ad it all had to start with my new look. Obviously we were going to the only place on earth where you can totally reinvent yourself. Or at least get the support to. THE MALL. I'm ready and I don't think anyone understands how ready I am. The second we walked in to the mall the first thing I saw was forever 21 an inside was a killer black skintight dress. This dress was the one. I didn't need anyone else's opinion this dress is the start of the new me. I picked it up. My size perfect. I didn't ever need to try it on I already knew it would fit like a glove. This wasn't just a straight black dress it had a cut out at the top right above my boobs. Which considering I wore a c I figured would really help me out. Taylor walked up to me when I was in line and as soon as she saw the dress it was like she knew just as much as I did that that dress belonged on my body. After walking out of the store I decided it was time to finally learn how to do my makeup. I wasn't 17 and hadn't ever done my makeup it's just I only used the most basic of the makeups. You know concealer, eyeshadow, and mascara nothing to special. I walked into sephora and looked at each booth then finally found the most party hard looking girl in there. She looked like just the thing I needed. Taylor just kind of stood back no matter what I did it had gotten to the point where she wasn't even going to try to stop me. She did all my makeup and taught me how to highlight and shadow and damn it was more difficult than I thought. When we left I became really hungry and I knew just what was needed to diminish my hunger. CHICKFILA!!! After scarfing down my chick dis sandwich and lemonade and Taylor finishing her ice cream we decided it was time to continue. I had only bought one dress and some makeup. I needed more. Something more drastic. Something edgier. It hit me it was time for my hair to go. I practically ran toward the nearest hair salon. Taylor stumbling after me. When we entered I walked straight to the desk and asked her to put in the book for asap. Next thing I knew the door flew open and Taylor stormed in. "What the hell are you doing here Larzy"
That was her nickname for me because apparently anyone could call me sky but that was to "mainstream" for her so thus Larzy was born.
"I chopping it off" I stated
I swear her jaw almost hit the floor. She knew how attached I was to my hair and how much work I put into it.
"What the fuck you can't cut it off what the hell is wrong with you" she was practically screaming but then again it was Taylor when wasn't she practically screaming.
I have long brown hair kind of like Zoellas hair but I am ready for change. The old Skylar would laugh in someone's face if they tried to tell her she even needed it trimmed now I'm ready to let it all go.
"At least tell me how much you cutting off"
I lifted my hand to my shoulder and she almost fainted. I didn't know it was even possible to do this to her and I'll admit it's kind of fun. "I really don't think you should do this"
"Taylor I have to do this I want to do this I need to do this" then as if on cue she said my name.
"Skylar it's time for your appointment 3rd chair in your right please. " I nodded and walked back and sat down. Age walked over and put the well what I call a cape thing on me and began spraying water in my hair. She then asked what the length I had chosen was I showed her and Taylor had to try to put in one last effort before she started.
"Skylar just don't make any crazy decisions I mean this isn't something you can decide you don't like and change it tomorrow. " She stated
"Taylor I'm doing this." "proceed my fine lady" I said and
And with that all I heard was a snip.
