Hydras Monsters (Avengers/ bucky barnes fanfiction)

The beginning

"Barnes do you have eyes on the target?" Steves's voice rang through the air. "That's a negative cap, I don't even know what the target is." Before Barnes could blink, a blur of white-hot air circled him and brought him to the ground. 

"Who are you?" My voice hissed out through gritted teeth. Placing my foot on the soldier's chest he stared back in shock. "Who are you?" In a matter of moments, a large hammer flew above our heads dropping a man beside me. Stepping back other people appeared from the trees and surrounded me. "Please I don't want to hurt anyone, I don't know where I am." my voice was shaky as I looked around the circle. The soldier slowly rose from the ground and held out his hands. "I'm bucky, we're the avengers. You may have heard of us. We are here to help you." My eyes widened as I looked around the circle. A man in a red suit spoke firmly, "What is your name?" As I thought for a second I looked at him, "I don't know." They began exchanging worried glances. A woman with red hair stared me up and down, "What can you tell us?" Balling my hands into fists I looked back to the soldier, "I woke up in a room surrounded by people, they were all speaking this strange language and trying to put something around my wrists. They were, scared of me?" The soldier stared at me and nodded. "I don't know how, but I ran. By the time I stopped to look behind me, all I saw was trees. That's when I heard people running and I saw something flying overhead." The man in the red suit raised his hand as I spoke. The soldier looked at me with wide eyes, "Did their words sound like this? Ты оружие." I nodded feverishly, "Yes. I- I don't know how but I understood you? How is that possible?" The man in the red suit stepped closer, "We don't know, But if you come with us you will be safe and we can help you get these answers." As a few members of the team took steps toward me I stepped back. They stopped when they realized that I was on the verge of running. The soldier stepped in, "I will go with you. If that makes a difference whether you go or not." Letting out a jagged breath I hesitantly nodded.

Sitting in the back of a vehicle I picked at my fingers. Looking around I caught the gaze of the soldier from earlier. He gave a slight reassuring smile, "Do you remember anything?"  I stared blankly at the seat opposite myself. "Pieces are flashing, but nothing solid that I can recall. I have this odd sensation that I have been in one of these vehicles before."  He furrowed his brows and cocked his head ever so slightly as if almost in a whisper he spoke. "A bus?" 

The back doors of the bus opened and light flooded in. The man that had previously worn the red suit stood there and held out his hand to help me out of the back of the bus. "Where are my manners, I'm Tony Stark. " The soldier stepped out of the bus next to me. I looked at the building that stood in front of me in astonishment. I had never seen anything quite like it. Walking through a doorway I realized I had never let go of Tonys' hand and was squeezing it tightly. He gave me a slight nudge, "Dont be afraid." Letting go of his hand I crossed my arms around my stomach securely. I continued to follow him as he led me toward a set of glass doors. Looking behind me I noticed the soldier was trailing closely behind with a few other men. 

"If you would have a seat there?" I looked at Tony warily as he motioned to a chair. He sighed and crossed his arms. "When you sit there, this camera will be able to tell us who you are." Sitting down softly the soldier sat across from me and watched me nervously. The red bar scanned over my face and the voice of a woman spoke, "Subject is Cassidy Douglas. Born January 13th, 1939. She was presumed missing in 1960 at the age of 21." They all stared at me as if time had stopped. The soldier broke the tense silence, "Are you like me?"
