-------------*Oikawa's pov*-------------
Another day started just as fast as the last one ended. The constant schedule of getting up and doing the same thing everyday. Going to school and then volleyball after just to work hard but stay the same.
The days always go by quickly. One minute your in first period and the next you are already at your final class. Sometimes the girls from my fan club come up to be in class, I always act nice and positive with them. Its all a show.
Well not all of it. I do love volleyball and want to be the best setter. I want to finally go to nationals and beat that Ushijima. God I can't stand him. Nothing gets in his way.
And then theres Tobio Kageyama, that little dictator. He never has to work for anything and just gets what he wants. Guys like him make me mad. I just know I'm gonna beat him, I have to.
And with that it was time for volleyball. I could be with my team and get lost in the game. Then maybe tomorrow would wait a bit before coming along.
Like always everyone did good at practice. Iwaizumi's spikes were good, Watari's receives were good. Everyone was good, well except for me.
I was setting how I always do, but that's the problem. They are all getting better except me. I can tell that they have improved but that have I done. Nothing. I have to stay late and practice. It's the only way I'll get better. The only way I'll be able to beat them.
After everyone left I was able to get some practice in. I was so focused on getting better that I didn't realize Iwaizumi walk in. He threw a volleyball at me to get my attention.
"What the heck Iwa-chan!!!!" I shouted at him, I was kind of mad. There are other ways to get my attention but that's Iwaizumi's favorite. He went on with his classic speech to get me to feel better.
After changing I went to my locker to grab my bag. But when I noticed a note. It said
Dear Oikawa,
I know that you probably get a lot of letters and this might be weird but I wrote it anyway. I have been observing you for the past month, not in a creepy way but whenever I saw you I would watch. I know that you act all confident and strong but why do you? Why is it that you only truly become yourself when no one is watching? Are you scared of what people will think? The way I see it, you're scared. You want your dream to come true and a part of you worries that it won't happen. You act all confident but you're not that much are you? Part of it is for show, like everything else. You have a fan club, with tons of people adoring you but even that doesn't make you feel better. You can't get close to any of them because well they'll end up using you won't they? Or at least that's how you see it. I would say the only person who knows about you is Iwaizumi, and me. But even then he doesn't know it all. I know you're probably wondering the point of this since all I have really done is just call you out, but I wrote it to tell you that someone is there for you. I mean someone is genuinely there for you. I get why you would hide yourself from everyone but you should at least be able to not have to hide from one person. If you ever need that one person then put a note on top of locker 356.
