Part 1: Meeting Again At Hype House

Addison POV:
I was making a couple tiktoks when I got a text from Thomas. He said there was going to be a few people there kind of like a gathering and he wanted me to come. I wasn't doing anything today so I responded with a "yes ofc what time should I head over there?", he quickly responded with 3:30pm. It was about to be 3 so I said to myself, if I'm going, I need to look presentable there's going to be a lot of people. I rushed to my bathroom and took a quick shower while jamming to my favorite songs. I blow dryer my hair and let it down. I was doing my makeup when I got another text. I saw it was Thomas again so I opened it. It read, "hey Addison, I just invited Bryce as well, I hope you don't mind".
I immediately smiled and then stoped myself, what was I thinking. I couldn't let myself fall for Bryce again after all we have been through. The separation process was hard enough I can't get to close to him or else I will get heartbroken again. I realized I left Thomas on read so I quickly typed "no it's totally fine, see you in a bit". I put down my phone and sighed, what if I fell in love with him again? I had caught myself stalking him a couple times this month but I was scared I would love him again. I shook everything off got back to doing my makeup when my mom walked in slowly. I must have had my worried face on because she asked what was wrong. "Thomas invited me to the hype house to reunite with friends but he also said Bryce was going to be there", she looked confused and said "What is so bad about Bryce?". "No no it's not that it's just..., I guess I don't want to catch feelings again". "Aww honey, you are never going to stop liking a boy, those feelings just never leave". I put my head down and fidgeted with my mascara tube when my mom raised my head up by putting her finger under my chin. "Don't worry, it's going to be okay". She walked out of my room and I sighed, she was right, once you have feelings for a boy they never leave. Although I might not want them, they will always be there. I finished my makeup and headed to my closet to find an outfit because I couldn't show up in a crew neck and shorts. I picked out my outfit and headed to my vanity where my phone was at to check the time, it read "3:34". I grabbed my keys and headed out the door saying goodbye to my family. My mom says "be safe!" and winks at me. I chuckle and head out the door. I put on my seat belt and drove off to the hype house

When I arrived it was now 3:47. I parked my car near the entrance and I called Thomas to let him know I was here. He answered and told me he was coming down to get me. He opened the gate and let me in bringing me into a hug and asking how I have been recently. We talked and talked until we had to go upstairs where everyone, including Bryce, was at. Before walking through the door I stopped and took a deep breath taking in everything my mother had said before I had come here. "Are you okay?" Thomas said. "Yea- um I'm fine", we walked through the door and there he was. The man I always would have feelings for, he was sitting on the couch laughing with tayler as he turned his attention to me. His eyes wandered on my body up and down making me blush but I decided not to look in his direction. I went over to sit with larray, hugging him and talking about how we have been these past weeks. A couple minutes passed and tayler signaled me to come and sit with him and Bryce. I looked back at larray and told him I would be back, he nodded as I stood up and walked into taylers direction. I waved at Bryce and sat down next to tayler so I was now facing Bryce. We caught up on some stuff as I see in the corner of my eye that Bryce is looking at me smiling with his hand on his chin. I look at him smiling for a second when I go back to looking and talking to tayler. I stand up and say I was going to near the pool since there was nobody there. "Do you want me to go with you?" asked tayler. "No no it's fine..." i replied and I walked off to the pool. I was scrolling through tiktok when I heard a familiar voice say "hey...". I turned around, there he was, Bryce Hall.

Bryce POV:
She turns around as I say "hey..." hoping to not scare her. She looks at me with a smile and squinting eyes because the sun is too bright. I go to the opposite side and say "is this better" hoping she could now see me without the sunlight. She giggles and nods. I ask if I can sit down with her and she says yes. "So how have you been?", we catch up on some stuff when I decide I want to see more of her since we had not seen or talked to each other in a long time. I ask her if she would like to come over to sway and catch up on some more stuff. She stays there for a bit thinking as if she wasn't supposed to go but she still accepts my offer. "Great I'll come back for you when you are ready to leave".

addison POV: (again)
"Thank you!", I say turning around as Bryce is now leaving the pool area. What had I done?!
I was supposed to not see Bryce so much because I couldn't handle falling for him again. "Okay Addison, you're going but you can't catch feelings, at all!" I whispered under my breath when I head larray saying hey. "Hey.." I replied. "What's wrong?". "Idk I guess I'm just nervous" I said. Larray asked why I was nervous and I explained the whole Bryce and feeling situation I was trying to avoid. "Ohh okay so look, it's okay to hangout with him but if you don't want to catch any feelings try to only look at him as a friend or pretend he only thinks of you like that so you can't think of him as anything else either". That was a great idea! I thanked larray and went for my search to find Bryce to tell him I was ready to head back to sway.

Bryce POV:
"Bryce?!", i hear my name being called while I'm playing pool with Alex. I turned around to it being Kouvr telling me Addison is looking for me. "Where is she?" I ask. "She's on her way out you will probably find her in her car". I thank kouvr and say bye to everyone as I head out on a mission to find Addison and a way to not make this awkward since we haven't talked in a while. I open the gate and walk out when I see Addison standing in front of the garage with Alex and Thomas cars parked perfectly in there. She is looking down at her phone with her cross body purse hanging down her body. She looks up smiling and says "ready to go?!". I nod and follow her to her car.
"do you still remember they way there?" I ask when I receive a chuckle from Addison. "Yes Bryce i know where to go!" We drive off playing music and talking until we pull up into sway.
We go inside and I tell her to make herself at home. She thanks me and she follows me to my room where we sit down on the bed talking for a bit when I suggest we go into my balcony to see the sun kind of going since it was now getting pretty late. We both cross our arms putting them on the railing, facing each other and smiling when I feel something on my hand. It was Addison....
