The Story of Pheonix

Chapter 1

Its dark out tonight, most of the heroes are asleep now. Perfect time to strike. I walked into a little store, looking around the shelves, when a little girl came up to me.

"Mister? Have you seen my mommy?" She timidly asked me. I turned and faced her. She looks like she was crying. How funny.

"Sorry little lady, I haven't. But I could help you look if you'd like." Her face brightened at that, as she grabbed my hand and started to look for her mom. "Hey, do you know where you live? I could take you home and see if your mommy is there."

"Mhm! I know!" She pulled me out of the store and started off to where she lives, dragging me along. But, to her dismay... I have other plans. I suddenly stop, forcing her back, using her grip against her. She looked at me puzzled, but I just smiled down at her.

"I know a short cut." I pulled her into an alley way, the girl giggling behind me. She ran in front of me just a bit, looking for the end of the alley, but 'surprisingly' it ended at a brick wall, the only way out was to go back the way we came. But that's not the plan. She looked at me puzzled again, until a flash of light caught her eye. She looked down at my hand, fear striking her face. "Let's play a little game. Its called... disappear." My knife went into her throat, as she let out a hoarse scream, blood spilling from her neck and mouth. The sight was beautiful! The red liquid covering my hands and floor as she fell down onto it. I stabber her again, this time right in her chest. She screamed again, tears soaking her beautiful, blood covered face. Then I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around, finding a hero looking at me with horror in his eyes.

"Stop, villain! You are under arrest!" He shouted, activating his quirk. Electricity shot out of his palms, surrounding him is yellow light. I grabbed my knife quickly, then jumped up into the sky, my wings spreading out of my jacket and lifting me up. I started to fly off, but a felt a shock zap through me. The pain forced me to fall onto the roof next to me, giving me a hard time breathing. I stood there for a second before I got on my feet again, ChargeBolt leaping onto the roof with me, staring me in the face. "Stop resisting. It will only make it worse." The energy spiked through him again, putting on a flashy show, but little does he know, I can be flashy too.

I surrounded myself in my wings, the soft black feathers lighting up in blue flame. I exploded in fire, catching the hero aflame as I got up and flew away, leaving a the hero to burn like wood in a campfire. As I flew away, my wings put themselves out, making me disappear into the darkness of the night sky.

-The Next Day-

I woke up to my dad snoring in my ear. I get how we had to hide and all in such short notice, but did we really have to sleep in such a small room? He's too close to me, it's annoying. I stood up, stretching out my wings to full length, accidently waking up the other man in the room. He sat up and stretched as well, groaning, his crimson feathers stretching out aswell.

"Good morning Pheonix. How did you sleep?" He asked me, his voice stained with sleepiness. 

"Eh, not that good. Doesn't help that I woke up to you snoring in my ear." I rolled my eyes, my wings flattening against my back.

"Well, would you rather have slept outside, in an alley where the heroes could have found us?" He said, annoyed at my complaining. 

"I guess, but you could have slept on the other side of the room at least." 

"I did." He stated, standing up and picking up the backpack with all our stuff inside. "Now we need to move. Don't want to be caught."

"Ya ya. I know. Keep moving, never stay in one spot for more then a day, and all that jazz."

"Don't give me that tone, I'm still your father. Now lets go." He opened the door to our little apartment and left. I quickly followed him out. We both took off into the air, the still dark sky shielding our presence from any hero nearby. Soon, we will find our way back to the base, but for now... we have a little fun in the shadows.

*Hello my lovely readers! This is something that I have decided to make. If you couldn't already tell, this is a MHA 2nd Gen fanfic. "Pheonix" is the son of Dabi and Hawks, and ChargeBolt is Denki Kaminari's hero name. There will be more children or MHA characters, and the characters themselves. Deku is the #1 hero, and Bakugou and Todoroki come close, being the #2 and #3 heroes. Anyways, see you guys in the next chapter!
