Chapter twenty: Truth or Dare

How her smile was worth a thousand unsaid words, it was beyond contagious.

Remus couldn't help but smile along with her, even though he didn't find his half as beautiful

Annabeth saw the opposite.

She saw the way he was always hesitant to smile due to insecurity.

She adored the way his canine teeth were sharper than usual and how his front two teeth slightly overlapped.

The pair smiled at each other like it was the only thing they knew how to do.

" Annabeth!" yelled Gideon, pulling Annabeth out of her trance

She looked up to see the twins, towering over her

" You ready to be home? We heard this ole' chap is tagging along as well" said Fabian, slapping his hand on Remus's shoulder

Remus winced as his nerves started to fill him up.

He completely forgot the twins would be there.

" He is, don't cause any trouble please. He's our guest" pleased Annabeth

" Us? When have we ever caused trouble?" asked the twins in unison

Annabeth shook her head as she laughed at her brothers

" Ickle Bethy here tells us that you're quite a fun time. Maybe we can take you under our wing" said Fabian, facing Remus

Remus's eyes widened as Annabwth choked on her apple

" Absolutely not! You are not corrupting him" said Annabeth sternly

" Don't worry, Beth. They won't steal your boyfriend" interjected James

Remus gave the messy-haired boy a death glare as he kicked him under the table.

The twins laughed at the redness of their sisters cheeks.

" Careful Annabeth, you might turn into a lobster" laughed Gideon

" Bloody hell is that?" asked Sirius

Annabeth and the twins laughed to themselves as the boy sat there in confusion.

" You packed your jacket?"

"Yes"

" Slacks?"

" Yes"

" Comb?"

" Merlin woman, I'm not an animal."

Annabeth had been bag-checking all the boys as they waited to board the express.

It seemed as thought everyone had what they would be needing as they boarded the train

The Marauders plus some walked towards an empty compartment, piling in.

Remus, Peter, and Annabeth sat on one side while James, Sirius, and Sam sat opposite.

" Fancy a game of truth or dare?" asked Sam

" And that is?" asked James

" A muggle game. Basically , someone asks ' truth or dare'. Truth means we ask a question and you have to answer and dare means we tell you to do something and you do it. Simple enough" shrugged Annabeth

The Marauders were more than on-board with this.

" Sirius, truth or dare?" asked Sam

"Dare"
