When Jungwoo and Serena finished their session, it was Lucas's turn. He is paired with a beautiful Filipino girl named Julia Reyes. She has long, wavy, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, 5'1(154.94cm). Julia comes from the same area my mom comes from, Davao City, Davao del Sur, Philippines. So, she speaks Tagalog(Standard Filipino), Visayan(Southern Filipino dialect), and English. She also speaks a little bit of Spanish, as there is a Filipino dialect called Chavacano that comes from Zamboanga, another area where my mom used to live before moving to Davao. I was able to connect with Julia because of this. I even had her talk to my mom on the phone in her native dialect. Hearing Julia and my mom speaking Visayan, reminded me of home. I guess I'm not completely alone here in Korea. There are Filipinos here too, but they're just hiding out somewhere.

As Southeast Asians, Lucas and Julia were able to connect on a few things. Although, Lucas grew up in Hong Kong and not Thailand, where his mother is from. He wasn't able to understand a few things that can always be found in the Southeast Asia region. For example, this is a really random fact but, the toilets have a sprayer next to the toilet instead of toilet paper. I know this because I witnessed it first hand. It was weird to me at first too. It's not like a bidet, no. It's literally a hose hooked to the toilet that you use to clean yourself after using the bathroom. It's quite interesting and different to anything I've seen personally.

Next up is Hendery. He is paired with a girl named Mingxia. She was born in China on July 12, 2000, but moved to Macau at a very young age. This means that Hendery and Mingxia are only a year apart. They never met before because they went to different schools. Mingxia revealed to Hendery that her English name is Rachel. I will forever despise that name because my teachers could never get my name right and always call me Rachel, but I can forget my grudge if it means being friends with Mingxia. She is really cool actually.

The next couple is Jaehyun and Myra Sharp. Myra was born in New Haven, Connecticut on January 12, 1998. She is only one year younger than Jaehyun. I'm starting to see a bit of a common theme here, the girls are almost always younger than the members, but hey, age is just a number after all. Jaehyun and Myra talked about growing up in Connecticut. Although they didn't live in the same cities, they could still relate to the fact they lived in a pretty small state. Not as small as their neighboring Rhode Island, but still small in comparison to other states, especially on the west coast.

After Jaehyun and Myra, it is Ten and Tiffany's turn. Now, it is rumored that Ten never really had an interest in girls in his school days, so there were also rumors of him not even being straight, but he proved all those people wrong. It made Ten sad that he had to publicly come out, even though he's just bisexual (this is not a proven fact by the way, it's just for the sake of the story). He's able to make all those sexual jokes about Johnny and stuff because he can swing both ways. Ten got that out of the way right away because he wants to have an open conversation about sexuality and normalize idols being more than just straight.

Ten and Tiffany had a deep and serious conversation about sexuality and personal identity, making them really be able to connect even more. The next couple after Ten and Tiffany is Xiaojun and Grace Campbell. Grace was born on November 29, 2002 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
"Oh, wow. Your accent." Xiaojun said.
"Everyone I talk to points that out first." Grace said.
"Oi-ut." Xiaojun said, trying to copy her accent.
"I can teach you how to do an Aussie accent if you want." Grace said.
"Please." Xiaojun said.
Grace takes her time slot with Xiaojun teaching how to do an Aussie accent. They of course, asked each other questions too, but the main focus was mastering an Aussie accent.

The last couple of this week is Haechan and Nakajima Harumi. Harumi was born on August 24, 2000 in Sendai, Tohoku, Japan. Haechan spoke mostly Japanese to Harumi because Haechan is fluent in Japanese. He feels comfortable conversating with Harumi. They also relate because they were born in the same year. Haechan also likes Harumi because her voice is pleasant to listen to and she has cute, short hair. What's even cuter is that Harumi is an adorable 4'9(148.9cm). She is much shorter than Haechan, who is 5'8(173cm). Harumi likes his height because she's always liked taller guys. It looks as though Haechan and Harumi will be a good pairing after all. They already had the best conversation together and even cracked a few jokes that made each other laugh.

With Haechan and Harumi finished with their Q&A session and face reveal over, that wraps up this week of NCT Bachelor. Jaemin and I changed the title because we think that NCT Bachelor has a better ring to it than The Bachelor - NCT Edition. It makes it less obvious that we based our reality show on the American show, and making it more like our own thing. With most of the members getting paired up, there are only a few handful of members left and it will wrap up the show. Who will end up being a couple for life? Who will end up breaking things off and going back home? We may never know until it gets to the very end of the show. . .
