Ash had anger issues. Like, bad anger issues. She'd punch a wall at the sight of one and almost everyone at school avoided her. Not that she minded. All she cared about was the one girl who cared about her, Emma. They had been through a lot together.
They first met three years ago in 8TH grade in art class. Emma had asked Ash what she was drawing and they've been best friends ever since. Ash had been around and watched as Emma had girlfriends and boyfriends while she only got one in all those years. How annoying. Ash didnt really care about who she dated though, she just liked being with Emma.
"Hey, wanna go to the football game tonight?" Emma asked from across the booth they were sitting at. "Football games suck, why would we go?" Ash asked as she slurped down her drink. "Because theres gonna be hot girls there duh." Emma said it as if Ash shouldve known.
"I guess but I think we should binge watch John Wick instead." Ash replied. "We've already done that ten time this year." Emma groaned as she stuck a fry in her mouth. "What? Those movies are good!" Ash said defensively. "I know but let's do something different for once."
Emma practically begged. Ash looked up at her with her lips pressed into a line. "Fuckin fine. Only if you buy snacks." "Yess!" Emma shouted as she shot her arm up in a fist.
Ash couldn't help but giggle at the cute gesture. "Let's get going I wanna get home before my mom yells at me to clean the dishes." Ash said before finishing off her drink. She called the waiter over. "Can you bring us the check?" Ash asked. "Of course." The waiter said before he walked away. "Hey wanna come over for a bit before the game?"
Ash asked. "Yeah sure, as long as your mom doesn't kill me." Ash snorted. "Don't worry she loves you." Emma made a face at her. "Sure." Ash rolled her eyes. "Here you go ma'am." Ash looked up at the waiter. "Thank you so much!" They quickly paid for their meal and got out of the cafe. "Oh shit I gotta drop my car off at home first." Emma said. "Okay I'll drive with you." They both got in their cars and started driving to Emma's house.
