Warnings: just fluff :)
The air was foggy and smelled of clean soap and water. I stepped out of the shower and immediately wrapped myself in a fluffy, fresh towel, trying to keep myself warm and shield myself from any wintery cold air that might've seeped in. Looking around, I realized that the space where I usually keep my clothes was empty, making me groan in annoyance.
"Babe! Can you come here please?" I yelled, hoping my boyfriend could hear me.
"Yes sunshine?," he asked, as he opened the door and the cold air from outside the room rushed in. I visibly shivered, making his eyebrows furrow. He turned to look at the counter, and a little smirk started playing on his lips.
"You forgot your clothes?" he asked softly, and I nodded. The mischievous grin on his face confused me, until he walked over and threw me over his shoulder, all while I was barely gripping onto my towel. My cold body immediately spread with warmth at the feeling of his hands on my bare legs.
"Love!" I squealed, while squirming a bit in his grasp. He brought me to our room and dropped me onto our bed, removing my towel and cuddling me up in the fuzzy, comfy blankets.
"I have to get dressed dummy," I whispered, and he only stared at me with innocent puppy eyes.
"You don't have to..." he mumbled, burying his face in my neck and giving it such slow, gentle kisses that I felt my stomach flood with butterflies and my breath hitch.
"You smell really nice". His warm breath caressed my cheek and neck, and I blushed at his compliment.
"I used your body wash..." I whispered against his ear. He looked up and smirked.
"It smells better on you".
He looked straight into my eyes while running his hands through my wet hair, and I took the moment to admire them. They were hazel, everchanging, and golden, with hints of blue sky, green forests, and warm amber sun. Physically, they had to be my favorite thing about him. It's impossible to not find them comforting.
"I love your eyes". I blurted out quietly, causing a small cherry flush to bleed into his cheeks. The smile that immediately spread onto his face was contagious. It made me realize boys don't get complimented enough.
"I need to tell you that more often. You do realize you're the most beautiful person I've ever seen, right?"
He looked down, almost in a bashful manner. "Of course you compliment me enough, it just always takes me off guard. Especially when someone as pretty as you is saying it."
I giggled. "This isn't about me, this is about you not appreciating yourself enough." I poked his cheek, hoping I was getting the message across. His eyes were soft and loving, and it was slowly making my heart melt into a puddle.
"Well enough about me, I want more of you". He said sweetly, pulling me further into his arms as his delicious, intoxicating scent washed over me. Staying in his warm embrace was hard to resist, but we still had the rest of our day to get through.
"I do have to get dressed though".
He looked at me with a teasing smile.
"I don't know how if you do..."
He ran his fingers over my bare sides, causing me to gasp and let out a trickle of giggles.
"Stop it you dork!" I squealed, trying to pry myself out of his suddenly tingly grip. His lips made their way to my neck, a gesture that was once sensual now overwhelmingly ticklish.
"No, I don't think I want to". He chuckled, happy to just admire the way he made your laughter fill the room.
