Story: Mira used to be a human named Usagi Kodama. She was a Japanese biochemist who worked at the Aomori Institute of Chemistry (I'm not 100% sure if that is a real place or not, but it most likely is). On one chilly day, Usagi was doing tests on peptides, when she accidentally spilled Hydrochloric acid all over her hands (This actually happened to me irl, it hurt). She rushed over to the emergency sink to wash it off before it corroded her skin, but strangely, the acid did not come off, nor did it wash away with the water. It was no use. The Hydrochloric acid engulfed her hands and dissolved her skin, revealing a few strands of white fur. The acid also transformed her hands into paws. The chemical spread upwards toward her arms and chest, eventually coating her entire body, and turning her into an arctic hare.
Other Facts: She is not very skilled at math. She is from Chiba, Japan. She is romantically attracted to women, although she keeps it a secret. She can travel through peoples' lucid dreams. She is not very good at English; Her grammar is very poor. The laboratory that she lives in is inspired by a real life science institution in a city nearby the one where I live. She is talented at playing the synthesizer.
