1 year ago:

Another day. That is what I thought it would be. How can so many different actions trigger you to do something which would change your life. I woke up that day drained and not wanting to go to school but I knew if I didn't mum would be on my case. I got up and rummaged through my wardrobe finding the most baggy jumper and leggings. My clothes no longer fit but I didn't have the guts to tell my mum I needed new clothes as these where already a size 6. I peeled off my long sleeve pj top noticing my deep scars which ran up my wrists. I traced them slightly looking at the newest addition which I did last night with a razor. Someone knocked on my door causing me to jump.

"One second." I shouted pulling my jumper over my head. But they walked in anyways but it was Betty.

"Hallie mum is wondering if your coming down for breakfast?" She said looking at my boney back.

"Im not hungry!" I snapped.

"Your never hungry." Betty mumbled. "Is everything okay?" She said sitting down on my bed.

"Why wouldn't it be!" I snapped pulling my hair up into a tight pony tail but clumps of hair fell out into my hand.

"Hallie your hair shouldn't be falling out like that." She said acting concern.

"Elizabeth please just go. Ill grab an apple before I leave." I snapped again.

She stood up and flung an awkward glance into my direction but closed the door.

I hated my body, I hated how I looked. I felt ugly in my own skin. I flung my arm swipping all my things of my dressing table crashing onto the floor. Ornaments smashed, books where flung everywhere. I stood up and walked out my room. I walked down the stairs grabbing my shoes off the steps and putting them on.

"Hallie dear is that you?" I heard my mother shouting.

I walked into a kitchen and flung her the fakest happy smile as I could. "Morning mum." I smiled.

"Are you hungry Im making eggs and bacon." She said happily.

"Im just going to grab a apple I need to return a book to the school library." I said.

"Okay dear your lunch money is on the side make sure you get some lunch and you will need to make tea yourself." She rambled on.

"See you later mum." I shouted walking out the door forgetting the apple on purpose.

I walked the 20 minute walk into Riverdale High. This school was pure torture for me. I had no friends here. I used to have one friend but she left Riverdale due to her parents work and thats when things started going down hill. I had one friend Fangs but he went to South side High. We met at Pops one evening whilst I was crying and he has been there ever since. We meet at least once a week. But while in thought I walked to my locker people tend to ignore the sad awkward girl. But some used it to their advantage and bullied me. On my walk to the locker I walked past some of the bulldogs.
