chapter 1: Case #1

                        *Flashback*

                     *1 year before*

"Detective Levi Ackerman, I need you in  my office" I heard Erwin talk through the intercom. I got up from my chair and made my way to his office. While being on my way to his office, I saw Moblit giggling and playing with his fingers. "What's wrong?" I asked and Moblit chuckled. "I'm going to be someones Assistant! But I haven't met them yet.." Replied Moblit. I hummed in response. I got lost in my thoughts thinking that the person was going to be lazy and useless. "Levi?" Asked Moblit nervously. I snapped out of my thoughts and told him "what?." "You uh.. kinda looked lost in your thoughts..." Moblit responded nervously again. I ignored him and kept walking towards Erwins' office.

"Alright we got a new case to handle,Im counting on you Hanji and you too Levi." Erwin said while throwing two folders full of papers and with a picture of a male on it on his desk. This called the attention of everyone in the office, making them pay attention to Erwin. "Moblit, you are going to do every single instruction Hanji tells you since this case is hard, everyone has to work without any breaks, this case has to be closed in two days." Erwin said with a serious tone."He really is trying to be all serious..." Hanji whispers to Nanaba Holding back her laughter. " Shhh...Hanji" Nanaba Chuckles  with teary eyes. " HEY" Erwin  glares at them and they salute. "Sorry sir!" Nanaba says looking at him. Levi's eyes glance at Hanji whos looking at the floor holding her laugh."Hanji." Levi Whispered to her, " Pssst.." Levi whispered at Hanji and she looked at him. Levi then gave her a meaningful look as 'pay attention to Erwin'. "You are all dismissed, except for you two." Erwin said while pointing towards Hanji and Levi.Hanji and Levi looked at eachother. She gulped as thoughts came to her mind. Calmly, Erwin walked towards his desk and sat down. He then pointed on the two folders glancing at Hanji and Levi. Levi walked slowly towards Erwin  grabbed the folder and saw the picture. It was a male with a hoodies walking away from a woman who appeared that has been shot and  beated up. Hanji leaned a bit forward so she could see the folder better. Levi moved the folder onto the middle so they could both see and Hanji said "Jesus Christ". Levi realized what ead happening and heard Erwin say "This is a case where you, Levi Ackerman and Hanji Zoe, are going to work together with Nanaba, Mike, Rico and Moblit. They are going to be there to assist you two." They both nodded as if they understood what he just said. "So.. I have to work with the 4 eyes. Like always." Levi said while smirking and receive a  smack from Hanji. Erwin nodded and said "I'll inform the others, now, get to work, both of you." "Sure thing, boss." Levi said and Hanji chuckled. "Hey, don't forget about tonight, we gotta game to play." Levi whispered. "I'll see you, in CoD Warzone." They both left smirking and left Erwin bitting his cheek."I  can't wait to beat you all tonight." Erwin yelled, while Hanji laughs." Sure thing!don't remember i won on mortal kombat last time!"Hanji yelled and Levi chuckled.
