"Where are you gangly mon?!" He screams and pronounces man like "mon".

Why did I take this door? It clearly said "Do not enter". The other door said "enter". But that was too easy. It had to be a trick right? Apparently not, and now the door was gone.

"Gangly mon, where are you? I will not hurt you!" He snarled.

This 20 foot tall neanderthal looking ogre was carrying the headless corpse of another man in his hands. He turned his hand and bit off the feet of the corpse. I could hear the crunching and it sickened me. It also let me know what would happen to me if I were to get caught by the ogre.

"Gangly maaaan! I will find you! Come out and play gangly mon!"

"What the hell is a gangly mon anyway?" I whispered under my breath.

"Oh, I hear you gangly mon! You talk I hear!"

I hid behind a large stone column in the room. It looked like just another part of the library I had just left, only the shelves and books were much larger as if they were made for the ogre's hands and not a human's hands.

The ogre bit more of the body from the shoulders to midsection this time. I could hear the bones crunching with more of a mushy blood soaked liquid sound this time as the ogre chewed lungs and heart with the rib cage.I held back the urge to vomit. I could not see the ogre, but I could imagine the scene of the feast from the sounds.

"Gangly maaaaan!?" He was toying with me, almost laughing.

The ogre's voice was muffled by the sound of the corpse he was chewing. When I walked into the room I heard the door slam behind me. Then I saw the headless corpse in the hand of the monster but I did not only see this, about ten feet above the hand holding the body was a sign. The sign read "exit". I had no reason to believe otherwise, besides my entry door had disappeared and it looked like the only way out. The room was huge and the ogre was on the opposite side but he must have heard the door slam and quickly stood in the aisle looking directly at me while he chewed on what I assumed was the head of the body in his hand. The shelved aisles were thirty feet high and three hundred feet long and broken up by breaks in the shelving so you could walk between the aisles. There were at least six of these long shelves, I decided to quickly run right, then quickly ran left hoping I could confuse the ogre. I stopped when he realized his shoes were making noise. I removed my shoes and crept down the far left aisle then off to the right of the room. The ogre had moved left when he heard me whisper.

"Gangly Maaaan!" He roared.

"Gangly mon?" The neanderthal sounded as if he was attempting to reason. "I only want to eat you. You would deny me food? This is not nice gangly maaaaan."

"Why was he calling me gangly man?"I thought. I looked down at my stocky body. "I certainly am not gangly. I think I know what it means. Why am I even concerned with this? This fucker wants to eat me!"

I looked at the large books on the shelves. I should have kept my shoes in my hand so I could throw them as a distraction! I wanted to throw one to distract the ogre. But the books were huge with huge hard covers! They must weigh 60 pounds! Even if I threw one it would just bring the ogre closer. I heard blood slowly spilling from what was left of the torso. I heard the liquid and what I imagined was intestines fall on the ground as the ogre once again turned the corpse over and bit through the legs up to the knee caps. The crunching of bones continued as did the footsteps of the ogre as he walked the aisles searching for his next meal, which unfortunately was me..

Slam! The entry door slammed shut, only this time the door was in a different location and I watched a man dressed in business attire walked through the door. The door was close to me on the left side and in the same aisle or break in the shelves as as I was. My first thought was to run for the door the man had just entered from, but as quick as I had the thought, the door disappeared. The man looked at me as curiously as I looked at him.

The running footsteps of the ogre were unmistakable! The ogre appeared in the break in aisles and now I was between the ogre and the business man.

I pointed at the exit sign and screamed,"RUN!"

Then I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. Everything went to slow motion, I tried to move quickly, and I was moving quickly, but my mind was so far ahead of my actions it felt as if everything was slowing in time. Ten feet to the door and I tried to slow my pace but it was too late. My stocking feet hit the wet blood left by the body chewing monster and I fell on his ass and slid into the exit door. I hit the door with a hard thud! I heard the footsteps of the business man running but more importantly he heard the deafening vibrating footsteps of the ogre closing in behind him!

"I got you gangly maaaan!"

I didn't know if it was my imagination or not, but I swear I smelled the salty bloody odor of the ogre now! I could almost feel the heat from his breath on my neck! I struggled to my feet trying not to fall again in the slick blood on the floor. I grabbed the door handle and turned the knob just in time to hear the business man screaming and then the "CRUNCH" of his head being bit off. I opened the door and pulled myself through with the help of the door frame slamming the door behind me.
