earlier today, i observed a bee
it hummed a faint buzz, sang its morning tune
in the bright sunlight, it appeared carefree
i looked at the clock and saw it was noon.
flying away, it did not notice me
making me frown because it left so soon
working hard, I admired how it flies
my best work comes when the world shuts its eyes.
