Childe stared at you while you panicked from sheer embarrassing.
You are way too adorable he thought to himself.
He hadn't noticed the innocent and happy go lucky grin that was now plastered on his face. But you did. Oh you missed this.
A part of you remembered this wholesome, and innocent feeling. The magestic and playful scenery you two would often fall into back then.
As you began to regain composure, you stared at Childe. Despretly trying to regain, and pull out memories from your past, somthing, suddenly, came to mind.

"Hey Childe?" You asked
He hummed in response
"Could you... Bring me back to Snezhnaya?"
You saw his face turn from a happy smile to a sorrowful grin. His face continued to drop as his expression was now a frown. His eyes clouded with a emotion you could not read.
"O-oh! You don't have to bring me back if it's uhm... Too painful...." You softly said, avoiding his gaze as you shifted your body to face him sideways.
"Oh no it's not that. It's just that Snezhnaya has been invaded by The Fatui, because of my "Betrayal" the Tsaritsa ordered a search on my home." He said blankly
"What?! What about Teucer, Tonia, and Anthon?!" You jolted a bit in the bed, both of your hands pressing against your legs in worry. You were completely oblivious to the fact that you remembered his siblings names.
He had taken note of it though, however it did take him a few moments. His eyes widened as he stared at you for a bit, before leaning back on his chair.
"It seems you've remembered my siblings" he smiled
Realization struck you as you relaxed back down slowly, covering your mouth with your hand.
A smile grew on your face as you began to get giddy from remembering something.

Childe watched you act like a kid at the playground, as your face began to form a endearing but goofy smile. He smiled back, treasuring this tender moment. He made sure to tuck away every happy moment in his heart, and never stray to the darkness again. Even if you did leave him again in this life, he would recall those memories, and make it through to your next recarnation. He knew you would do the same. A strong, and unsual bond created by the curse of eternal life. And the binding of soul mates.
"They should be fine. The older ones will take care of the younger ones."
You lifted your head to gaze at him once more. You admired his faith in family. But you couldn't help but worry.
"What if they get caught somehow?"
He gave you a smirk and acted overly dramatic
"Oh how terrible that would be indeed! I better go check up on them, no?" You giggled at his goofyness before commenting
"Stop it you goof ball. But seriously, what if that happens?"
"I, the Eleventh of the Harbingers, of course taught all of them battle techniques and lots of other fighting skills! That included hiding too" he gave you a wink, which made you roll your eyes slightly as you smiled.
"Ah the mighty Tartaglia. I should of known" you said sarcastically, rolling your eyes slightly. You began to move out of bed, Childe quickly stood up from his chair to help you.
After a bit of practicing, you were able to stand and walk on your own. You decided to take your dirty dishs and go wash them, helping out in chores was the least you could do for the man who saved your existence. Childe was now in the living room couch, relaxing and chilling. As you made your way to the dish washer, he noticed you. He quickly got up from the couch.
Childe swiftly took the dishs off of you, then he nodded towards the couch, Not too far away from the kitchen. He was signaling that you should sit down, and relax on it. You glanced at him and gave him a small bow of gratitude before heading over to sit down. Your eyes were still tired and sore from all the chaotic crying you did yesterday. You rubbed your eyes and yawned. Slowly you later layed down against the couch, drifting into slumber.
You quickly caught yourself and jolted back awake right before you were about to fall asleep. Childe was finishing the last of the dishs, and you couldn't help but stare. He noticed this of course and took this as a perfect opportunity to tease you.
"Don't stare too much Girlie, you might give me the wrong idea~"
You instantly flared up and quickly looked away, questioning how long you've been staring at him.
Couldn't possibly have been that long could it? I sat down not too long ago.... You thought, desperately trying to find some logic and save face.
You were So deep in thought you hadn't even noticed that Childe had sat next to you already. As you slowly turned around to be met by Childes face inch's away form yours, you instantly squealed and flew backwards a few feet before sighing.
"Jeez... You scared the Archons out of me"
"Haha, my bad."

There was some awkward silence between you two as you sat a few inches away from each other, both staring at opposite directions.
You decided to break the tension.
"So uhm... Sibling situation..." You piped up, now worrying about his siblings safety.
He sighed a bit.
"If you are that worried we could pay a visit? I'm sure they will be thrilled to meet you... Again" He added the last part hesitantly, afraid of your reaction.
You nodded with a sad expression.
Just as he thought, you were in That train of thought again.
He sighed once more and quickly wrapped his arms around your body, securing you into a tight hug.
Your breath hitched as you were pulled backwards into Childes chest. Your body betraying your brains commands, you were unable to move. Mainly from shock and embarrassment. He gave you a quick peck on the cheek, which made your body shutter ever so slightly. You prayed to the Archons he didn't notice.

But of course, he did.

Childe smiled in satisfaction and let you go, giving you another smile.
"Don't think like that okay? Just be you, and you'll be fine. My siblings are pretty smart, they'll figure it out soon enough" He reassured, putting a hand on your shoulder.
"They get their genes from me y'know!" He grinned.
You smiled, and nodded. You sat criss cross on the couch. Thinking. But this time, in a good way. You were thinking of what to say to them, and what to get them.
"Oh, and" You heard Childe add, your head perked up in curiosity.
"You're still as sensitive to my touch as ever Princess~" He teased, placing a finger underneath your chin to lift it, you, now looking at his menacing, but smug face.
"Soooooo not happy that you always have the upper hand!" You complained, playfully slapping his hand away.
He played along, acting very overdramatic.
"Ouch!! That's hurt! How in the 7 Nations did you get this strong Princess? I think I won't be able to fight for the next Decade!" He whined, clinging onto your shoulder in a way to signal you to comfort him. Clutching his Oh so injured hand.
You rolled your eyes and chuckled, "I will always have the upper hand in combat Fatui! You'll now obey me!" You fake evil laughed, and you both burst out laughing afterwards.
"I'll always have the upper hand in our relationship though~ Princess~" he added the last part quickly, as he had forgotten for a split second.

Your heart fluttered at the sound of your nickname said in such a suggestive tone. You hid your face and silently squealed. Ashamed that he always was able to get to you. Something about him, everything he said, did, just hit different.
You felt his hands wrap around you again to turn you around. He gently places his hands ontop of yours to pry your hands off your face.
"Don't hide that beautiful face now~ You know I love to see that adorable face of yours!"
Your face turned even more red.
"You're so very adorable when you're embarrassed~" You heard again, testing your limits.

This time, you felt your legs fail you as you slightly fainted onto Childe.
He swiftly caught you and gently held you with his cold, but strong hands.
"Oops, seems I've killed her" he joked, carrying you to a spare room to tuck you into bed.
