"LET'S GOOO!" I scream as big bold letters and fireworks appear on my monitor screen, telling me that I won the Minecraft sky wars match I had been playing. The chat on my second monitor goes crazy as my 1,543 viewers begin to spam PogChamps.

I smile at the chat fondly, even though they can't see me.  I had such an amazing base of supporters underneath me and words couldn't describe how grateful I was for every single one of them. Many of them have been around for the majority of the 5 months I've been streaming for, but recently, more people have been stopping into the streams and more than normal had been sticking around and showing up to the daily streams. I interacted with all of them as much as possible and I even knew a lot of my old supporters by their username and regularly checked in with them, a few of them had even become mods for my chat.

After calling an apology to my father for yelling at as late of an hour as it was, I finally return to the server hub. I message the person who I beat out of habit before I get ready for another round.

"Chat, wasn't that sick?! I'd say my PVP skills are getting at least slightly better! I guess all this practicing is helping me a lot." I chat with my chat as I always do, casually and gratefully. "Chat, I feel like I don't say it enough but thank you guys. Like genuinely, I would not be anywhere near where I am today without you guys. So just thank you guys so much-"

Right as I finish my phrase, a robotic voice plays through my headset, reading off a message from a donation. "HEY ANITABREAK. I'M A NEW FOLLOWER, AND I JUST WANT TO THANK YOU FOR BEING SUCH A POSITIVE INFLUENCER IN THIS WORLD. ON THAT NOTE, I WAS WONDERING, WHAT ARE YOUR OPINIONS ON LGBTQ+ AND THE DISCRIMINATION THAT SEEMS TO FOLLOW THOSE WHO ASSOCIATE WITH IT AROUND? I LOVE YOU <3"

I glance at chat as it's reading so that I can see what the chat thinks of the donation. By the end of the donation being read, I see that a lot of chat is curious about is as well. So I take a deep breath, trying to gather my words like I always do before I speak. I always got nervous when talking about topics that are hotly debated. I knew how bad cancel culture was when it came to taking things the wrong way or out of context and being cancelled is not something I needed right as I was starting to get bigger.

After a second of silence, I begin. "Okay, now we're getting into serious Annie mode because this question is pretty serious." I switch my screen to the one that shows the chat and also some pretty art works that followers had sent me. "First off, let me start off by saying that this is my opinion. I am not trying to push away anyone else's opinion nor am I trying to make myself seem like I know better than everyone else. On the topic of LGBTQ+, I love them just as I do every other human being on this earth, because that's what they are. Human.

"No matter what anyone says or does, member's of the LGBTQ+ community are human beings and they should be treated as such. Equality does not apply to one gender, or one race, or only if you're straight. It applies to everyone. I do not believe anyone should have the power to gatekeep who is allowed to have equality and who isn't, because people are biased. People will always have some sort of bias. Equality should just be a general thing among EVERYONE. It is not something that should be handed to only specific people. And this problem can not be fixed by only one person, because trust me, if I could, I would fight with everything I have to fix it, but I can't do it alone. This is something much bigger than you or me. Harmony in this situation can only happen when people band together to peacefully fight the common problem at hand."

When I finally finish talking, I glance at chat and watch as a much of chat agreed with the things I had said. However I still make sure to clarify myself. "Like I said, I don't think my opinion is above anyone else's. I'm just answering the question."

After I finally finished speaking, a sound I had only heard a few times, but the sound wasn't the thing that made my hand fly to my mouth.

Nihachu is Raiding with 20,000 viewers

Suddenly,  I was faced head on, unprepared and anxious with something else much bigger than me.
