The aftermath Part 1

Her eyes that were widely open a moment ago was now suddenly formed into tiny slits.

Woo Jin wanted to chuckle at the dramatic change but then thought it wouldn't be a good idea.

"Are you jealous?" He teased her.

"Yes I actually am!" She answered the irritation apparent in her voice.

Woo Jin was surprised by her candid answer.

"But why? That was quite a while ago." Woo Jin said amused.

"I don't know I just am! Maybe I just don't like to think about it. Do I know her or..them?" She demanded.

Now that Eun Jae had finally addressed the depth of of her feelings for Woo Jin and can officially call him hers, her mind couldn't fathom the fact that he dated other women.

Seeing her begrudging face Woo Jin pulled her to him to lay on his shoulder which she gladly did while wrapping her arms around his body and Woo Jin placed his arms around her too.

"I never really thought we had a chance Eun Jae Ya. I had long accepted that it was one sided. I mean that slap to my face should be enough answer for me not to pursue you don't you think?" He explained to her.

Eun Jae lifted her head to look at him with a frown forming on her face.

"How could I not slap you? You were so nonchalant about it and that was supposed to be my first kiss!" She said slightly agitated.

Woo Jin was delighted with this tidbit of information he gave her a quick peck on the lips.

"I'm glad to know this lips will only be mine." He happily told her while in his mind he vowed to be her last.

Eun Jae just chuckled at his antics and laid her head back on his chest.

"Anyway, that's when I thought I should just get over you but it was easier said than done. I thought I finally did when I didn't see you for a while but the moment I laid my eyes on you I resigned myself to the fact that I'd probably never get over you." He continued saying.

Eun Jae hugged him tighter she felt her heart grow bigger just when she thought she already love this man he kept surprising her and filling her heart with more love for him.

Eun Jae knew it was time to make a confession too. To finally tell the secret she had been keeping.

"Seo Woo Jin?" She called out his name hesitantly.

"Hmmm?" Woo Jin answered while enjoying the quiet time with her in his arms.

"Can I tell you a secret?"

"Okay" He said not really thinking much of what she just said as he was indulging himself in this moment.

"I did like you in Med school too." She confessed softly.

She said what?

Woo Jin was suddenly alert. As soft as it was it felt like she screamed it right into his ears.

" I never told anyone before. I've even tried denying and quelling it myself. I guess it's just fitting that you're the first one to know right?" She told him like this was just some old news she was talking about.

There was no answer.

She lifted her head once again to look at him. " Yah Seo Woo Jin are you listening—" She cut herself off when upon looking at him there was disbelief written all over his face.

Woo Jin finally found his voice while running in his head were thoughts of was Eun Jae pitying him? Was she trying to appease him?
