Beating the Timer- (Hogwarts related)

Chapter 1:

"Hurry up Yana we're gonna be late!" said Hermione banging on the stall door.

"They're waiting for us you know." Said Luna getting impatient.

I was in the bathroom stall because I had to go right before we were went to meet up with the boys. What can I say I can't hold it.

"Finally. I was loosing hope." Said Ginny fixing herself while I washed my hands.

"I'm sorry. You knew I couldn't hold it. Okay we can go now." I said as I finished washing my hands.

We were walking down the corridors when I bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry I wasn't watc- oh hey Blaise."

Blaise was one of the first people I met at Hogwarts so we kinda became friends.

" Oh hey Ayana. Where are you going?" Asked Blaise.

" Oh I'm meeting up with everyone at Hogsmead. I'll catch you later tho. Bye." I said walking away because the other girls kept walking.

The thing is I'm friends with Blaise but despise Draco. Sometimes Draco can be rude so I don't even try to associate with him. He can be a real mood killer. When I hang out with Blaise, sometime Draco is there. Because I'm a good friend, I don't let my hatred towards him affect me. I try to get along with him but it never really works because he won't work with me.

As we were walking down the corridor Ginny, Hermione, and Luna were talking and I was thinking.

Do I look good? Should I fix my hair? Do I smell good? Then I snapped out of it.

"Yana. Are you okay? We've been calling your name." Said Luna.

"Oh yeah. I'm ok. Just thinking. I'm fine now." I said trying to sound okay.

As we got off the train, we went straight to the three broomsticks. We saw the boys already sitting at a table waiting for us.

"It's about time. What took you so long?" said Harry. He obviously was starting to worry.

"Well, Yana had to use the toilets, the she started talking to Blaise on her way to us, then she got lost in her thoughts." Said Hermione. I happened to notice Ron looking jealous when Hermione mentioned me talking to Blaise but I just brushed it off.

" Well Jeez Hermione, didn't have to expose me like that. Anyways I'm so thirsty. Oh excuse me can we get 10 butter beers? Thank you." I said ordering 2 for myself.

" Yana there's only 9 of us here. Why are you ordering 10?" Asked Neville.

" Oh I got two for me silly. Instead of going back for another in why not order two now." I said because I always order more.

When our drinks got here I chugged the first on and everyone looked at me.

" What you guys have known me since we were what 10. Right you know I love myself a good butter beer." I said taking a sip of my second one.

We all continued talking for the whole time. The after that we went to Fred and George's joke shop. We all got loads of things. The it was time to head back.

We got in the train and just talked. I decided to sit next to Ron this time. We all started talking when Ron whispered something to me.

" You looked great today." He said quietly for only me to hear.

I began to blush a little. " Thanks Ronald. You looked nice too."

The whole ride back to Hogwarts me and Ron whispered conversations as I rested my head on his shoulder. When we were about to get off the train the others stared at us.

" Guys it's time to get off the train. Where back." Said Fred nudging George.

I had fallen asleep but Ron kept talking to me. He woke me up and I noticed everyone looking at us. I quickly got up and rushed to the common room. I got there before everyone else because I was embarrassed.

" OMG AYANA WHAT WAS THAT?" Ginny yelled asking what happened. She wasn't mad she was excited.

" Nothing I just fell asleep while we were talking and he kept talking that's all." I said as I grabbed my stuff to change.

I think they are starting to suspect a relationship between us but were just friends. Right?

Ron's POV

" Dude, she's into you. I know she is." Said Harry as they walked into there room.

" Yeah the way she looks at you and when she's with you she's like, I don't know glowing." Said Neville.

I really like her but I'm afraid she won't like me back. I almost told her when she was asleep but I remembered the others with us.

" I don't think so. And I don't even fancy her." Ron said sternly enough to make it sound believable.

" Oh please we know you do. Why would you keep talking to her like she was listening." Said George obviously making a plan.

" Goodnight guys." Said Ron laying his head down.

Does she like me. I guess we'll never know.
