Angel looked around for Lady. She spotted her at the top of the stairs. Angel barked trying to get her attention. Lady looked at her and smiled. She walked down the stairs.
"Is something the matter Angel?"
"It's Colette.. She's acting kinda.. Moody."
Lady looked over at Colette sitting outside in the backyard.
"Hmm.. I'll go talk to her. Maybe you could help."
"Help? But I.."
"C'mon Angel, you're practically her sister now. You can help her with whatever's wrong." Angel smiled
Her sister?
She thought while following Lady outside.
"Colette?" Lady asked letting motherly concern take over.
"Yeah mommy?"
"Are you feeling alright? Angel told me you seem a little sad."
Colette shot a look at Angel as if she was saying
How could you!
Angel's ears flopped down and she backed away.
"I-I'm fine.."
Lady narrowed her eyes,
"Are you telling the truth?"
"Yes! I promise I am!"
"Colette.."
Colette sighed and sat up.
"Okay fine.. I'm a little jealous."
"Of what?"
"Angel!"
Angel's eyes widened.
"W-why would you be jealous of me?"
"I- I don't know you're... You're... Getting all the attention now!"
"It's because they are trying to make her feel comfortable Colette!"
Shouted Lady.
Colette's ears went flat.
"Col-"
Lady began.
"No! Just shut up! Angel has ruined everything! I should be getting attention! I've been here a lot longer!"
Angel didn't hear anymore after that. She already ran back inside. She ran up the stairs and hid in the bathroom.
Did I really rip a hole in the family? Does anyone here even like me? Does Scamp even like me? Did they only take me in out of pity?
She thought.
"Angel?"
Said a voice coming into the bathroom.
She sniffed and looked up,
"S-Scamp?"
