Yeah, it's somewhat confusing, but hopefully this clarifies it.

Basically in my story, the human to werewolf ratio is at about 60:40

Talia (Laurel's college roommate), Alex (Talia has to keep him out of trouble), Lucia (Laurel's mother), Lena (Laurel's eldest sister), Maverick (Laurel's other older brother), and Max (Laurel's younger brother) are ordinary humans.

And in my story, if you're an ordinary human, the only way you'd know about supernatural beings like Laurel and Dylan is for you to 1) be immediately-related to them (i.e. parents, siblings, and children), 2) be werewolf's mate [but only AFTER they have told you what they REALLY are; you have no idea what they are beforehand], or 3) witness a human shifting into a werewolf [which, you would most likely freak the #$%^ out if you saw that].

Let me know if I've lost you somewhere, and I'll be sure to clarify further :D

I'm in my last year of uni, and it's taking up all of my free time at the moment, but I have the next couple chapters written (although, they need hardcore editing lol) and I will be sure to get back into the writing groove once my final exams are over (a few more weeks. Ahh! I'm so excited to get them over with!)
