I’m a Singer/Songwriter born on 11/05/1995.
I grew up in the Blue Mountains (an area West of Sydney, Australia) but moved around a lot.
Very much in love with (and engaged to) a beautiful lady. ♥

I began playing music at the age of five; starting with recorder at school, then moving onto guitar at the age of six when I got a little nylon string acoustic guitar for Christmas.

Over the years I have picked up many different instruments and attempted playing them. I’ve played gigs on drums, bass, keys/piano as well as guitar.

I’ve always sung around home up until I was about nine or ten years-old. I suddenly got super self-conscious and wouldn’t sing in front of anyone ever up until about 05/2012. Only recently I’ve become comfortable with singing in front of people and hopefully that never happens again haha.

Music is my biggest escape.
I’ve had a fair bit of trouble growing up;
From a broken down family and beaten at school, to ending up in hospital from self-harm.
Music has taught me how to control my emotions and put my feelings into words that I’d never be able to bring up in a conversation with someone.
It has helped me stay strong throughout all of the hurt that life brings. It allows me to put my every thought on paper instead of bottling up, and it doesn’t judge me. It’s like an ‘escape rope’ in Pokemon; always getting me out of those scary, dark places.
I love it because it understands and puts me in another world for a while.

Sometimes I’ll grace a stage;
Sometimes I’ll play on sidewalks.
I’ll play where ever and whenever I get the chance to.

I don’t write music for other people to enjoy; I write it because I love doing it.

@kaitlynn0lan HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY WISHES, congratulations on turning 18 on Saturday, sorry I'm late in my message, but you know what they say, better late than pregnant, LOL kiddin, hope you had a great day, ha ha ya still a teenager, another year next july I hit 40, LOL, got a little good news since I last messaged you Butty (Nat) has recovered and things are going back to normality, thank goodness, yet she sprained her anckle on Monday getting up to go to the loo, LOL, oh poor Butty what am I gonna do with her, thanks for your support on soundcloud, your music is very good, like your jams too, clever to add them as uploads, cant wait to listen to some tracks to your EP, looking forward to them very much, anyway ranting like forever so I wish you all the very best and I hope you have a wonderful time when you guys go out to party this weekend, have a drink on me, LOL yet I wont be there to pay for it I'll pay for the drink in spirit, enjoy and thanks for putting up with my constant messages lately I hope they entertained a little, take care, Butty&Dipper :-)

@kaitlynn0lan hi Kaitlyn thanks for your reply, I hope you can stay strong and pull through the bad times, I know life can be tough at times and very are often tested and pushed to our limits, as long as you can keep your head above 'water' the shore will soon be back under your feet and you'l be back ondry land if you understand what I'm trying to say, wont pry into whats troubling you incase I upset you in anyway, but if it helps you for me to listen feel free to drop us a line, dont like any of my wattpad friends to be in distress, one time a a wattpad friend took me and Butty to the limit but she managed to get back on track and feel alright again.  
Over in the UK Butty relapsed and she is under the hometreatment nurses have been seeing her most days offering support, its been tough for me as I've had to hide all her meds so she doesnt OD, hide and dispose of all sharps so she doesnt cut, and keep vigil and alert nearly 24/7 incase she does sommet to herself, we have not really been anywhere or seen many of the people in our lives for when Butty (Nat) relapses she goes in herself, starts to hear voices and sees strange creatures outside our home that nobody can see, trying to kill her, yeah its Nuts but me and Butty have been here so many times throughout the years and so far she has recovered and we got our lives back on track.
Thanks for following, you was my lone fan for a while then as the day is progressing got I think 7 more, LOL. GLAD YOU LIKED THE COVER :-), wanna do loads more but still waiting for my 8 track and a mic, LOL, I will keep you posted. 
OH Soul Kitchen Recording Studios is my kitchen in our home, LOL :-), tryed to make the treack sound professional even though I think you can hear our boiler in the backgroung and the cats bell ringing around 2:49 mins of the track, LOL, maybe I should mention added percussion by Maggie May the ginger Mexican cat, LOL, or by her stage name 'Margarita May', LOL :-) take care Kaitlyn, cheers for everythin :-)

Hope all is good and your music is doin fine too, just opened a soundcloud account try to upload one track and ended up uploading the same track 4 times now I cant seem to be able to delete them, LOL, I'm so moronic & cretinous, LOL well if you please checkus out we go by the name sunuk, LOL I uploaded a cover by Depeche Mode called 'stripped', I made it on a 4 track app on ma mobile using me yamaha keyboard for the music, hope you will give it a whirl and follow too, you will be my lone far so far if you do, LOL, well better let you go, are you gonna have a party for your 18th? Yeah that's true lol I used to get terrible stage fright (I still do a lot) but I kinda' like that feeling. I'm still super keen to hear any stuff that you're going to release :3

@kaitlynn0lan Hi, so happy to get messages from ya, been gone a week away from my laptop so sorry for late reply, hope all is well in Oz, happy you said our comment made your day :-), cool, I'n not gonna preform any of my tracks I make, quite happy just to record them and youtube them and soundcloud them, I used to be in a band and suffered with stagefright, but just love music n lyrics too much to not keep on making music, :-), see you left your soundcloud adress so we are gonna check it out, take care and all the best from Sunny Salford UK, Butty&Dipper

Haha well, here I go again...

8-Tracks are great things. I would not mind investing in one, myself haha
Don't ever be embarrassed about your uploads/recordings :) you've got a nice voice that you should be proud of!
No date as of yet, haha. I've made the decision of re-writing every song (basically just started again and chose new songs that I'm writing this year. New, fresh material). So, hopefully by the end of this year I will have a five (round about) track EP for you to listen to :)

I might do some videos; once I get the songs down pat and what not, I'll take the professional recording (or a semi-non-professional recording I do haha) and post it.  I'd love to.

Happy your EP is coming on, wanna buy a digital 8 track isntead of buying a go between between my laptop it cost more but think I will enjoy making tracks more, only got the music down for one track of my LP but if I get my 8 track recording machine I gonna re-do it. Happy you liked my upload, LOL, I'm still a little embarassed about it, LOL, have you got a date for the release of your EP? Cant wait to be able to have some Kaitlyn Nolan playing through my ears :-) My LP will come out a track at at time on Youtube and on Soundcloud and will be probably in the summer for I got my keyboard but wanna buy and 8 track, gonna do picture slideshows for the videos probably my own drawings, should be cool. Are you gonna do videos for your tracks too? Cant wait to hear your music n lyrics thank you so much for replying its so good to hear from you, please let us know of any new stuff you do for Soundcloud and youtube all the best and lots of love from Sunny Salford UK, Butty&Dipper :-)

My EP isn't going too bad thank you. I've just recently written another song that will feature on it. Just got to get moving and get it all done haha.

@kaitlynn0lan hi Kaitlynn, done a cover last night and uploaded it to youtube, its Wicked Games by the Weeknd, hope you like it, but gonna quit doin covers got a dispute goin over copyright with the site now about the cover and don't feel confortable about it so gonna start to upload my own material instead, hey hows your EP goin girl, can't wait to hear it, hope its out soon, I'm working on an LP, but got the music down more or less gotta add vocals but gotta buy a go between my laptop n mic so its in time, good to hear from ya, all the best to ya, hope all is good in Ozz, take good care of yourself, all the best from Butty&Dipper :-)
