I stopped writing seven months ago because I felt tired at how bland my poems were. But having fallen in love with writing, I'm back again. Only this time, I am making sure that my poems are even better.

Do you know why the rain comes?
It's because someone is praying for all
your sadness to be erased.
So that I can comfort you... I'll become your rain
~The TRAX, Over the Rainbow

I've always loved the rain. It just calms my mind and takes me to places far away from the world. And when I cry, I like to do it when it rains so no one will know which are tears and which are raindrops.

I discovered my passion for writing because of poetry. That's why most of the works I have here are poems. But I'm also trying to write stories too (which I hope you'll support as much as the poems I write). I'm currently joining the Watty Awards 2012 and I do hope you'll support it too.

Thanks and have a happy visit to my profile. I really appreciate it.

P.S. If you want to add me on Facebook, you can find me here: http://www.facebook.com/herrera.jade

You touched my soul with your beautiful song
You even had me singing along right with you
You said "I needed you"
But then you changed the words and that harmony
And you sang that song you'd written for me
To someone new.
