For everyone out there,

It's alright to not know what to do. Sometimes it's best just to sit there and think. It doesn't mean that you are slow or stupid. It's alright to just stop and listen to the leaves rustling, the songbird singing, and the quiet mysteriousness of the forest.

But remember you aren't truly alone. There will always be somebody there to welcome you back from the forest of your mind, to take you back and let you voice your thoughts. It may not even be who you think. A librarian, your mailman, maybe even your neighbor that you haven't spoken to in 3 years, or the quiet old man just down the street. It doesn't have to be family. Sometimes they will not know what to do because they have never dealt with something like you dilemma. But others have. I promise you that. There will always be that ear in the wind to listen.

Do something nice for yourself. Watch that movie you wanted to watch even though nobody else wanted to, get that chocolate bar, you deserve it, take a bubble bath, listen to music, walk in the forest, read a book, play a video game. Anything just to make you step back for once.

It's not worth wallowing in the darkness with no one to light your way back. And sometimes just do it yourself, support yourself and go the pathway you make. It doesn't have to be the road less traveled by, make your own path instead. Light that light in yourself and show yourself out if nobody will give you that lamp. Sometimes you know..Screw people, screw them, they suck sometimes, they really do. But a lot of the times somebody will give you a match. Even just a smile can ignite a fire in your soul.
Just because nobody talks to that kid at your school doesn't mean you do it to. Help him pick up his books when the jerk pushes him down. Sit by him at lunch. Give him that dazzling smile of yours. Even the smallest act of kindness can open a lit path for someone in the darkness.

GIVE SOMEBODY HOPE. There is always hope, no matter where you are.
